We had a great short vacation.As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed. The apartment was very clean, bright and what we liked best was the small terrace, which invites you to linger and which we also enjoyed. Breakfast is provided every morning in front of the door in a picnic basket AND is so lovingly filled.Also a big thank you to the son who conducted the wine cellar tour.The subsequent tasting with the snack plate is highly recommended.We say thank you to the family of Dr. Höfer!!!

I can't imagine a nicer place to relax. There are great paths in the vineyards here. This is our second time here and we would love to come back. But first let's enjoy our time here.

It was another wonderful weekend with Dr. Thomas Höfer!With wine tasting, snack platter, events on the Troll stage, overnight stay and finally a 4-course menu with matching wines for the meal - from the starter to the dessert - everything at its finest. See you soon!

It was a wonderful short vacation.Lovingly furnished rooms.Breakfast was left in front of the door in a basket with everything in it in the morning.Perfect. The service was great.The wines are excellent.It was a nice time.

We had a weekend with Dr. Höfer booked after my wife returned from there with her friend last year.What can we say, expectations exceeded!! Arrival on Friday totally uncomplicated. Since we were the first ones, we were able to choose freely from the rooms.The visit or tour of the winery, led by Dr. Höfer, was highly informative and simply great!We had a lot of fun and were able to learn a lot.The subsequent wine tasting was also a real experience, thanks also to the great other guests. We all got along really well, the wines tasted great and the presentation was also great.The snack platter served for the tasting was rich and very tasty. Everyone has really found something here.It was also great that we were able to end the evening with our fun group on site. So we were able to enjoy the very good wines and the weather that was at least as good.Saturday is then completely your own until the evening program. The surrounding area also offers a lot of destinations.The second evening was also a complete success!! The taste of the food in the chosen restaurant was very well matched to the wines, or the wines to the food.Here too we were able to end the evening relaxing with the other participants.We can only recommend the weekend package and thank you again for our great weekend, which could only come about through great service and the great family.P.S.Of course you can also take wine with you ;-)

We had a wonderful weekend at the Dr. family winery. Höfer spent. The wines are fantastic but they are not the only thing that made our short vacation an experience that we will remember. Particularly noteworthy is the hospitality and outstanding service. Special attention was paid to special needs, in our case special wine, during the wine tasting and even during the menu. We can only recommend a holiday here. About two weeks ago I ordered the new customer set on the winery's official website. It cost 249 euros including shipping and I verifiably transferred this directly to the bank account specified in the order confirmation email.Nothing has happened for two weeks! No information, no tracking number, nothing. I've already written several emails and the gentleman or gentlemen probably don't think it's necessary to answer them or finally send the paid goods. I've already called several times by phone and had a young woman on the phone who wanted to take care of it. Nothing has happened yet. Apparently she didn't even know that they had a website where you could order their wine. I was starting to feel more than fooled!Give these people a wide berth. They pocket your money and don't send the goods out. Playing death and not responding to emails or calls. It's past them.... So far I have only experienced pure incompetence here! Don't order via the website if you want to get something for your money!EDIT://06/29/23After a few weeks I finally received my order. It wasn't easy, but an apology was made for all the inconveniences, as a new employee was probably not very familiar with all of this.Today I received a notification from DHL that a new package was on its way from the winery to me. At first I thought: "No, what's going on?" because I hadn't placed a new order. It was another apology with 2 free bottles of wine. Thanks. It was a pleasure.

I was at the Höfefest in Rümmelsheim and was absolutely positively surprised at how busy there was at the Schlossmühle winery - lots of young people and a really good atmosphere.The wine was great, there was also a spritzer and I would definitely get some wine there. I can't say anything about the prices, so it's probably worth buying directly from the winery, and the staff was super nice too.But all in all - clear recommendation!! Especially the sweet wine!
