Unfortunately, this campsite is doomed. This is where the money is taken out of the camper's pocket. Until recently, campers were still welcome, but now they are being threatened. This no longer has anything to do with a well-run campsite.And yes, I'm not using a fancy name... I stand by my assessment.

Very nice campsite in a very quiet location with a nice parking space on the water.Negative point unfortunately for the playground, which was unfortunately nothing, everything was broken and dilapidated...

A beautiful place to feel good.I was a guest at this campsite for 8 weeks. I can't explain some of the bad reviews. (I can only imagine that some authors were on other sites and mixed up the name of the site.)I don't have any notable criticisms to make in the 8 weeks.I found the welcome to be brilliant and very friendly. The places are well-kept and large, the toilets are clean. The people there, whether permanent residents or tourists, were all very friendly.I would like to highlight the course operator, he helped me a few times with his advice.So what more could you want?We will be coming to Dockweiler Mühle again next year with our caravans.We're already looking forward to that today.In any case, I can only recommend this campsite.And again, thank you for your hospitality.Oh yes: they can celebrate too😎

Our impression of the short holiday (off season) at this place is very positive.We were there over a long weekend and the place is really nice. Our parking space for the motorhome was right on the lake and provided a fantastic view, especially in the morning. Lots of nature gave us plenty of opportunities to go for walks. The staff on site was always friendly and the price was absolutely great. The sanitary facilities are getting old, but are apparently being gradually renovated. Didn't bother us because it was clean, which was important to us. Washing area was also clean. Washing (€3.50) and drying (€3), as well as hot showers (€1 for 10 minutes) were also possible for little money. Mobile toilets can be emptied on site at a basin or you can use the cleaning machine and have the complete cleaning for €2. Five minutes walk from the square is an organic bakery that offers really good baked goods. The playground, which was clearly visible from the square, was ok. We will definitely go there again to escape from everyday life.

A very large campsite. Many years of posting. Under management of the owner again since June 2024. It is now working on restoring everything. Helpful nice man. We spent 5 days here with a touring caravan.

Very nice, quiet campsite. We ended up there more or less by accident, but we'll definitely be back.You can simply start hiking from the campsite and enjoy the landscape. The Nürburgring also feels like it's just a stone's throw away.We really enjoyed our vacation days.

Camping with dogs. It was a quiet place (albeit at the end of the season), not far from the sanitary facilities, which were consistently clean. Good excursion destinations nearby.

Good access, easily accessible even with a long trailer.Nice reception, unfortunately no instructions or plan were given.We've been looking for a way to wash the dishes for ages.Large pitches that are well and clearly numbered.However, you can save yourself fishing at the ponds. Almost impossible due to the ducks and crayfish in the water.Sanitary facilities are no longer the newest but OK. Showering costs 1 euro extra for about 10 minutesCleanliness was also OK but could be better.Very dog friendly, the first dog was even free.All in all a nice place and value for money is definitely right!

Very nice little campsite including a crawler park for 1/10 1/8 and 1/18 1/24 RC crawlers.The volcano crater lakes nearby (about 15 minutes by car) are also very beautiful

So, a little assessment. Unfortunately, I had to leave the place in a flash this morning due to acute family problems. But nonetheless, I would like to give my personal summary.Campsite with adjacent model crawler track! Top!1. About the crawler route: Basically a great route. Unfortunately, due to the weather and the "wild growth", not everything was passable, but I still personally enjoyed that small part.I saw that a lot of love and effort was put into it.But I also saw what immense effort is necessary to keep the route completely passable. ONE person is not enough for the weekend.For that, my respect goes to the person responsible, the only one I have seen fighting the wild growth.2. About the campsite: I felt very comfortable and had a good rest.Despite previous problems, the place is currently being "reoperated" and "reorganized". We are open to suggestions for improvement, especially now in the “early days”.The place is pleasantly quiet, the long-term campers are all very friendly and willing to have a little chat.I will definitely come back just because of the place.The sanitary areas are currently being redesigned and will certainly be completed soon. The current new areas offer no reason to complain3. I can't say much about other members of the Crawler Crew.The few people I met were busy with all sorts of things, but were always open to a little chat. I was particularly impressed by a 13-year-old boy, the son of a member, who helped out on the pitch every now and then and was hard-working and even asked if there was more to do. Rarely seen.4. Since there is/was nothing to buy at the site due to the tenant change problem, my personal special thanks again to Joschi and his wife (long-term campers) who brought me things that I was missing several times on their own shopping trips.All in all, I'll go there again next year and then hope that the entire route is passable.I give everything 4.5 out of 5 stars. 👍👍😃😃

The most indicative sentence today for the past ordeal as a long-term camper over the last two years was: “Finally there is someone here at the front (reception) where you are welcome.”From now on, we will be happy to provide you with helpful, solution-oriented assistance with any concerns you may have.Cohesion among the campers is back.The bathrooms and the restaurant are, unfortunately now of necessity, partially renovated and re-equipped with the missing appliances.Thanks to the many hard-working, dedicated helpers ❤️Thanks to Mr. Schell for his relentless persistence and perseverance.Level is not cream.And cleanliness is no longer a foreign word.We long-term campers warmly welcome all vacationers and also new long-term campers!

Beautifully located campsite.I am a long-term camper here and am very happy about what a young, new, committed team, together with the owner of the place, managed to fix here within a short time. There is a friendly atmosphere here. Unfortunately, the course has not been well maintained and has been very run down over the last two years. But thank God that's over now.My recommendation… come here and spend a weekend or more in the beautiful Eifel.It's definitely worth it!

As long-term campers, we are really happy that our “jewel” is getting better again.Thanks to all the hard-working helpers who have been working, cutting, mowing, cleaning and clearing over the last few days.Due to the last tenant's mismanagement, there are still some "construction sites", but these are gradually being completed.And we are particularly pleased: at the reception you will be greeted with a friendly HELLO.
