Regenbogen Bad Gandersheim

On the way back from the north to the south we stopped at the campsite for one night.First of all: it's not easy to find because the navigation systems send searchers across the city, but not to where the place is.If you enter the town and see a paddock with horses on your right, you are in the wrong place. So turn around and get back on the main road towards Seesen. After 1-2 kilometers there is a street on the left that leads into the Kurparkviertel. There is also a sign for the square hanging there.If you come in from the other side and the paddock is on the left, then continue as described above.The place is really nice. Great surroundings with a small pond, natural, quiet, well-kept pitches.Service very friendly and helpful.The square is right next to the spa park, through which you can walk into the city.The new sanitary block is clean and, in our opinion, was planned very well.Container blocks with four cabins each were set up in an existing building. Acts like a private bathroom. Shower, sink, toilet, all in one room. That was good, even if the shower cubicle with a ceiling height of around 190 cm might take some getting used to. But it works. There are 20 washrooms in total.There are also new washing machines and dryers in the building. Washing up and cooking facilities are also there.We felt totally comfortable on the pitch. It is not just a good place to go for short visitors.Finally: if you spend the night on the square, you should definitely visit the associated restaurant “Auszeit”.Great ambience and very good fresh food at a fair price with very friendly service.

I can't rate the room because we were there with the tent.Everything was very clean and quiet. There was plenty of space at the campsite to spread out a little more. Toilets were new and very tidy. Electricity is included in the camping price and is not billed based on actual consumption. If you don't have a CE plug, you can also get electricity from normal sockets. We were there with the tent for 6 days and enjoyed every day.

Ended up at this campsite while cycling on the R1. From the sanitary perspective, they are just renovating the campsite or something like that. Sanitary facilities were all new and clean. It's a pity that you are stuck with the tent at the end of the sanitary building. Otherwise had a great stay! Considering the facilities, the campsite is a bit expensive in terms of price-quality ratio.

We spent a night here in transit in our caravan. Will come back. Nice service, top sanitary facilities, spacious parking spaces. :-)

Mini golf on the campsite, location great but unfortunately some courses are in need of renovation.

Camping, from what you can see, has fallen into disrepair. The place is beautiful, relatively well maintained and quiet. On the other hand, the restaurant does not work, the Minigolf urgently needs renovation, there are no areas for children to play and the pond could be a little cleaner. In quality-price it is OK but fair.

Completely new sanitary conditions! You get your own small bathroom with bath, toilet, sink and table! And there are a lot of them!Nice woman at the reception who speaks English.Book any theater experience in Bad Gandersheim, tonight we unfortunately miss an ABBA show, which is sold out. BUT we sit down at the restaurant next door and enjoy the music.Perfect for cycling and walking, nice parks close by. Beautiful old town with many restaurants.Badesø. Good for transit or a few days.

Nice atmosphere, good food and very friendly staff.

Sweet, well-kept and beautiful place.We had a small camping cabin and were really happy. I was particularly impressed by the sanitary facilities. Individual cabins with shower, sink and toilet, also very neat and clean, absolutely great!
