I have no idea how this store gets a 4.4 star rating. I've never had such a bad gyro with fries. Not worthy of a Greek!!! The breakfast was very manageable, not very professional. Rooms, dining room and surroundings are not clean and well maintained.

It's really a bit questionable how the above-average reviews came about. There was probably only recently a change of tenant (it is now run by someone with Greek roots who sits taciturn and motionless on the corner bench in the entrance area...). Regardless of the new tenant, the rooms reminded us of a youth hostel. The shower and sink are located directly in the room without any boundaries. The mattresses are so soft and saggy that you can hardly turn because the hollow in which you lie is like an abyss. Because the balcony no longer existed, the balcony door was "secured" with cable ties and two screws. Oh... where is the toilet... ahh, out in the hallway, great. The room doors are so thin that you can hear the fleas coughing in the hallway and there's a bit of a musty smell everywhere... that's just because of the carpets and furnishings, which are getting older. And for a whopping €80 upwards per double room including breakfast and the region... the two stars are for the good rolls and relatively satisfying breakfast selection... if you arrived on time shortly after 8. Unfortunately, other guests found a shabby buffet, without sausage or grain rolls. It was noticed at some point after 15-20 minutes and refilled... still a shame for the other guests, that definitely took too long.

Greek restaurant, there are not many options for eating in town.I've eaten better Greek food, but it wasn't such a hit.

The Greek restaurant is a bit old in terms of interior design, but the food was very good! There are typical Greek dishes. The Crete plate consists of gyros, souvlaki, French fries or rice and tzatziki. I've had a few souvlaki before, but this was by far the best skewered meat I've ever had in a Greek restaurant: juicy and very well seasoned. The gyros were also very good and even the french fries were above average. And all of this at very moderate prices: The Crete plate cost €16 (April 2024), a large beer cost €4. And of course there was an ouzo on the house at the end.

Were there over the Easter holidays, the landlady is very nice and open. The rooms are clean and the restaurant is in a beautiful historical style. The breakfast is varied and fresh. We'd love to come back!

We stayed here as part of the Hochrhöner tour. We were skeptical at first because the guesthouse is a bit old school. The nice landlady, who cooked especially for us in the evening, impressed us with the extremely good trout. The breakfast was also excellent, it had everything you could want for a Sunday breakfast. She even drove to the next town because the bakery was open there.Top !!! We would go back immediately

We stayed overnight as hikers on the Hochrhöner Tour. Although the guesthouse actually only offers bed and breakfast, we also had a delicious dinner, which was very nice there

The guesthouse was a stopover for us, but it was more than sufficient, very clean rooms, with TV and WiFi, the breakfast buffet was delicious and absolutely sufficient.
