I was fairly impressed of how comfortable and stylish the hotel feels like. Service is always kind and quick. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need, plus they're nicely decorated. The breakfast buffet is perfect, highly recommended. It has multiple options and they all feel fresh, while tasty.

We had lunch in the restaurant again for a long time. The dishes were damaged on every plate and bowl. The portions were very small, but the price was very high. The service was very nice and the atmosphere was chilled.

The room is narrow, as is the bathroom, the bed and mattress are very, very bad (it consists of two single beds and a worn-out mattress), the pillows are much worse (if you ask for more pillows, the same problem will occur), and the breakfast is less than normal compared to the price. I do not recommend staying there at all.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel started with disappointment. We arrived very late and had been assured in advance that checking in after midnight would be possible without any problems. However, when we arrived, we couldn't get into the hotel for a long time because the door was apparently broken. It was only by luck that another guest entered the building that we were finally able to get in. For a hotel of this category, I expect a smooth process, especially with such basic things as check-in. What a shame!

Great discovery! We stayed here for one night more by chance. This hotel alone makes it worth coming to Basel. The hotel is very centrally located, but absolutely quiet. Our room (facing the leafy inner courtyard) was cozy, spacious and very nicely furnished. Good toiletries, everything high quality, comfortable beds. Hardly any hotel has houseplants, but here it does! The Library Lounge is very nice and cozy, you feel like you are at home. Games, books, and free coffee/tea/water/fruit. The reception was very friendly and professional. At the end there is a fantastic breakfast that you can only find in a few 5* hotels. We'll definitely be back!!

Our stay at the Nomad in Basel is one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The staff greeted us so friendly with great local advice on what to do in Basel. The complimentary dry bag for use during your stay meant that you get to experience swimming in the Rhine like a local. The tea and coffee station was fantastic. Gym and sauna divine. Bed so comfortable. And breakfast was great
