Beautifully located on a lonely lake. You can swim, rent boats and even bicycles. Wonderfully quiet. There is a shared kitchen where you can cook, with a coffee machine. Otherwise there is a rich breakfast.

After many years I'm back in the area and it's just as beautiful as before. As a solo traveler, I am pleased by the operators' willingness to chat. The opportunity to purchase some delicacies on site is also pleasant (and so delicious!) You could also get breakfast, but I look after myself in the well-equipped apartment. Everything is spotlessly clean, well thought out and has an attractive style. The absolute peace and quiet ensure deep relaxation. The surrounding area (national park) is something other than just forest, we are not allowed to do some things here but that serves to preserve this special area. And beautiful paths, landscaped rest areas with comfortable seats, designated bathing areas and, last but not least, the excellent path markings make your stay a pleasure. In the evening you can listen to owls, cranes and the rutting deer on the terrace. Of course you can also enjoy the best gastronomy in the surrounding towns and culture in Neustrelitz.

The guesthouse is located right on the lake, a picturesque natural environment, a friendly operator. Perfect for fishing and boating holidays. The accommodations are well equipped with TV, beds and a nice patio area in front. There is also a rustic boathouse. We always enjoy coming back.

If you're looking for silence, you've come to the right place! Peace and coziness are the order of the day here. No noise from cars, trains or ships can be heard here. The two ladies who exude so much charm in the house fit wonderfully into this beautiful area. Apart from the fact that we didn't have WiFi in the rooms, there's nothing to complain about or it takes some time to get to the next restaurant😂😂😂.We felt very comfortable.Kind regards from Switzerland 🇨🇭

Like most of the guests, we are absolutely impressed by the location and, above all, by the hosts (NO gender bias). They take the time to chat, are always helpful, and cook very well. If you say "no" here, then it really doesn't work. Which happens very rarely.

Super nice, cozy guesthouse, very nice host family. In the middle of the forest with a swimming lake, ideal for nice walks. Mushroom hunters will also get their money's worth. Highly recommended.

The location is a dream, peace, greenery and going swimming in the morning.The rooms are simply furnished but also inexpensive.Little space, so book in advance both for camping and for the rooms.Yes, the landlady has character, if you stick to the rules she is very friendly and accommodating.We will be back!

I can't agree with the positive reviews. Two years ago we stayed here for one night on our paddling trip. It was indeed quiet, if not exactly hospitable to water hikers. Unfortunately, the alternatives are not exactly plentiful. This year I was immediately turned away with two tired children. "We don't take water walkers anymore." No exceptions, just the recommendation to continue paddling across Lake Userin, "if you dare," or 2.5 km back to the Hexenwäldchen. How I love these grumpy Meclenburg girls! Anyone who makes money from vacationers shouldn't treat them so condescendingly. And to avoid misunderstandings, perhaps simply take the tent prices from the homepage.

We went fishing there for a few days. The accommodation was good and the landlady helpful. However, the Görtowsee is not easy to fish.

You can have pure relaxation here,also enjoy good food,crawl at your own bathing area,in the canoe - don't scare away the birds! -on lakes and in the Havel.We have loved it since we were here!
