Great vacation at TollenseseeAfter arriving and completing all the formalities with the really nice hosts (picking up the keys in town, payment), the three of us (2 adults, 1 child) spent six (+) wonderful days in the Blossom Magic House. The grass was green, there was salt, there was soap... But to be honest, when it comes to self-sufficiency, I don't expect such little things that can be purchased for minimal money. For me, a green lawn is not essential for survival if the conditions for it are rather moderate or if you are out and about most of the time anyway. In any case, with us it was green, even in tropical temperatures (mid-June '19).In short: We all really enjoyed our week at the Blossom Magic House. It was clean, well-kept, you could use all the items (grill, fire bowl, kitchen utensils, etc.). Everything was great - we can't complain at all. We also received useful tips about the region from the landlord. We had a nice meal, went on a bike ride around the lake, played tennis, played mini golf, went swimming on the summer toboggan run...there are plenty of leisure activities. There are also shopping opportunities in nearby Neubrandenburg. I can only agree with my predecessor: this region is an absolute insider tip because major tourism has not yet arrived. We even liked it so much that we "slept through" our departure day and spontaneously added another day. Thanks again to the hosts for the uncomplicated solution. :) We'd love to come back.

1 week of vacation, and we got a rather questionable impression on the first day. As soon as we arrived we noticed that the lawn was very unkempt (neither watered nor mowed). The terrace, which looks so great in the pictures, is already broken in some places and hasn't had a new coat of paint in a long time. The 2 steps up to the terrace are also very unstable. When we went in, we were initially very pleasantly surprised. Everything was neat and looked new. However, we were repeatedly disappointed throughout the first day. We found old cobwebs in every room, mostly even with residents, then dust mice and older dirt in the corners. The bathroom also looked great at first, until we noticed that there wasn't even hand soap where it was supposed to be... But the shower was also a little miracle... The water drains rather slowly or not at all, which is why it runs out of the shower on the sides (i.e. the joints are not tight). We were a bit irritated when there was no salt or pepper for dinner, as there should always be something like that there. We also looked in vain for egg cups for breakfast, so we made do with the existing shot glasses. I then also took down the fly screens to clean them because there were so many old insect remains and spider webs stuck to them. Over the next few days we kept finding something that bothered us but in the end we came to terms with it. To everyone else there: “If you can ignore something like that for that kind of money, hats off to you.”
