Family-run nice place. Very accommodating staff. Sauna, pool, canoe and kayak rental, pony rides, campfire in the evening: everything is great. We'll be back. Thank you for the great 4 day stay with you.

A beautiful place that exceeds all expectations. Friendly and courteous staff, lots of options for water sports enthusiasts, bread service, small shop, buffet every evening with music around the campfire, very excellent. Incredibly idyllic location. I would like to come back more often.

Dear witch's forest...you and your special magic. Nowhere else have we found a quicker, uncomplicated, non-stuffy connection. There was a touch of sadness in the air as we said goodbye, surrounded by people we had only recently met. The view you gave us for a week, high up, surrounded by trees, was really beautiful. We enjoyed having to make do with little...As a family we experienced beautiful moments around the campfire... the focus was on being together. Thanks to a night's sleep, you could simply treat yourself to the luxury of making yourself comfortable in the tent after dark, reading aloud, telling stories, etc.Only sometimes we would have liked our predecessor to be more forgiving in the toilet (when it came to cleanliness)... according to the motto: always leave the place a little better than you found it.And the fact that you have to bring your own toilet paper helps everyone to use paper as a resource in a more environmentally friendly way.A beautiful place on earth for the uncomplicated family.

Oh, that was nice! A really warm welcome with coffee from Jan! Hospitality in action. We enjoyed the quiet pitch with a wonderful view over the lake, the beautiful autumn weather, the walk around the lake, and the presence of the many animals. Always new feelings of happiness! The barbecue evening around the campfire with friendly campers and the team rounded off the day comfortably for us. The potato curls, leeeeecker! We wish YOU all the best and thank you for the many wonderful memories.

Went there for the first time as a couple and it was very nice. The staff there were very friendly, nice and were able to help everyone. Thanks again to everyone.It's very idyllic there, we had a great spot right on the water. When others complain about this place, they don't understand camping.A small drawback was the cold water when brushing your teeth, but it wasn't too bad.Thank you also for the lovely Saturday evening, the food was great and everything around you could see that they did it with a lot of enthusiasm, thank you.😎👏🏻

Had a lovely Bulli and Friends weekend with great weather in a beautiful spot on earth and great staff. You immediately feel warmly welcome. The knights of the Schwafelrunde say thank you for a great time. I can only recommend it if you want to relax and get away from everyday life. The night's rest is consistently enforced and that's a good thing!!! We'd love to come back next year! Greetings from the Salzland district!

For us as a family with two children (7 and 4 years old) one of the best places. Everything you need is available on site in the well-stocked kiosk for a fair price. Extremely nice, familiar and courteous team that leaves no problems unsolved. I would also like to thank you again for the package acceptance service (the tent and accessories were sent in two large packages and kept there until we arrived, as well as various orders during the vacation). Bread rolls can be easily ordered online. Canoe tours, pony rides, campfires, craft courses, fresh smoked fish - everything is possible. The parking spaces in the woods are spacious and offer good sun protection under the pine canopy.We enjoyed being with you and look forward to our next visit.

Campsite very, very rustic and very run down. We were there once before 15 years ago - no comparison. The sanitary facilities were not inviting - we moved on straight away.

The pretty, professional website of the “Hexenwäldchen” does not give the impression of how primitive the sanitary and organizational facilities here really are. Organic, eco, sustainability or not. Hygiene and cleanliness are the be-all and end-all for us. There is absolutely nothing here!The employees are friendly, but also quite presumptuous in their comments towards the guests. For example, when I borrowed and returned the 4-person canoe, my husband had to load and unload it alone with comments like: he "has really big arms" after all, he can "do it."Often no one felt addressed when we had a question at reception. Not to mention the “guest” who always sat under the reception pavilion and smelled badly of sweat and urine. We also noticed negatively that the rolls only come in a double pack. Unnecessary cost trap & food waste when the rolls are not needed.Nobody on the campsite benefits from the free WiFi, as it only works in the entrance area.It says on the website that you have to bring your own toilet paper, but they don't think about drying your hands. In our opinion it is an excuse that toilet paper is not provided because they cannot please the guests (too hard, too soft, too rough).The only ball game area was out of the way and usually overcrowded, so our daughters left there sadly.In summary: It wasn't a nice vacation. We felt completely out of place. Not our clientele at all. We're not ete petete either, but cleanliness is impossible here.The only plus point is the location in the forest, on the lake, with access to canoeing.Ultimately we left earlier than booked because it was no longer reasonable.

As a first-time camper, I don’t have much to compare this experience to, but I can say that it was truly wonderful. The camping area is beautiful, surrounded by nature, with a stunning lake that my kids absolutely loved. The scenery alone makes this place worth visiting, with plenty of space for children to explore and enjoy.One of the things I appreciated most was the family-friendly atmosphere. The area is well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. The lake is a highlight, offering safe and fun swimming spots for kids.A small note for fellow campers: after 22:00, it's quiet time, which was perfect for us as a family. It allowed us to wind down and enjoy the peace of the outdoors. However, if you’re looking for a place with a lively nighttime atmosphere, this might not be the spot for you.Overall, I highly recommend this camping spot for families. It's a fantastic place to create memories, especially if you’re new to camping like I was.
