We spent 2 nights in the apartment, which is very spacious. The apartment is on the 1st floor of a residential building where the landlords live on the ground floor. On the right side is the bedroom and the bathroom with window, on the left side the living room, kitchen and balcony. Various tea bags and coffee were available. The pots are probably not enough for a 5-course meal, but if someone wants to cook more elaborately, they can certainly ask the landlady for additional utensils.When we arrived we were immediately offered homemade cake and coffee. If you like delicious, not-so-sweet cakes, this is the place for you. Even if you want to be woken up by the smell of fresh cakes, the landlady starts early in the morning and bakes several cakes that the guests can eat in the beautifully landscaped garden when the weather is nice. I can well imagine that one or two cyclists will stay here longer than originally planned. On the bike path you cycle through sparsely populated areas, so there aren't that many places to stop and shop, but in the small shop in a former garage you can find a lot of refreshments, including fruit, vegetables and fresh farm eggs.The landlady is a hostess through and through and with a lot of heart. When I moved from the sleeping area to the living area in the morning, I immediately heard a “good morning” from downstairs and asked how I slept. The location is absolutely quiet, so if you are looking for peace and relaxation, but also warm hospitality, this is the right place for you.

Family atmosphere, very good breakfast and homemade cakes every day!The apartment was very nice and large but the hosts were the best.I'm already looking forward to my next stay with Roswitha and Alfred... a must for me.

We, three couples and a friend booked for 2 nights. Two couples shared the two guest rooms on the ground floor, one couple and their girlfriend shared the holiday apartment in the attic.Without rating:There is a kind of sales stand in the garage. Drinks, snacks and everyday goods are offered there. Among other things, there was a book about Costa Cordalis, socks, a rolling pin, room decorations...What caught our eye was a jar of bockwurst for a whopping 3.90 euros. We asked ourselves, who shops there?Now the positive:The breakfast was rich and we had it together in the holiday apartment on the top floor.There were fresh flowers in the house.That's it already.Now the long list of negatives:When we came into the house it smelled like food everywhere. It's no wonder, the open kitchen on the ground floor is in the hallway. The room doors and the bathroom door on the ground floor all have large glass elements, privacy is almost impossible. The bathroom on the ground floor is shared with the landlords. The rooms upstairs smelled very strongly of room spray. We weren't allowed to open the window in the upper bathroom because the dark panels, which were installed throughout the attic, couldn't tolerate moisture. But it would be logical to open the window after showering.The large bed in the holiday apartment was sagging. Either the mattress, the slatted frame is outdated, or both.What doesn't work at all is the railing from the balcony. It was put together from HT pipes and KG pipes. If these pipes were connected with iron and then poured with concrete, it would have been just funny. But they are not. This makes them unstable, wobbly and life-threatening.THEY CAN CAUSE A FALL IF YOU REAN AGAINST!On the first evening we, all of us over 50, sat together in the holiday apartment, talked at room volume and of course laughed. At around 10 p.m. the door to the holiday apartment suddenly opened without a knock and our landlady stood in the apartment to ask us how long she could expect us.That is not possible.This circumstance caused a couple to leave early the next day.The window in the lower bathroom has a pleat that is too small, so you can see everything the user is doing as you walk by.This trip was an experience that you don't need.I have no idea how so many positive reviews came about. We will never stay there again and everyone else should think twice.

I booked the room for one night at very short notice. Was greeted at the driveway in the dark with a flashlight, was well looked after and said goodbye in the morning with a good breakfast.

Very nice, older people who are there for their guests and you can always find little things that you can buy. Highly recommended for cyclists. Thank you from the Lösche family from Leipzig
