A place for pure relaxation. Nice, friendly people and a top class chef. For people who don't just want to relax, there is also a lot of education.

Conny Brock's book hotel is a place of strength for book people. Groß Breesen stands for a carefree break with books, reading or writing. Here it's all about the relaxed bliss that can be achieved in harmony with nature and the enjoyable use of literature.

Special place with tons of books and spaces for reading. Wonderfully quiet, but difficult to reach without a car or bike. Not much around. Nice personel. Relative expensive.

Our stay left nothing to be desired. Everyone is constantly looking after the guests in a loving, even familiar way.Two years have passed again. We three friends spent another weekend at the Book Hotel. A great concert nearby on Friday evening was the real highlight. We thought so at first. But a visit to Güstrow is always worth it. Then a reading break in the garden. Pure peace and relaxation. Of course we couldn't get past Mücketkeramik. Individuality and quality! My earrings!!! It was another wonderful weekend. Not least because this hotel has been able to maintain its family character and charm for many years. We'd love to come back here soon! There is still so much to discover...

Super nice & warm service. 🤩The location is wonderfully green, idyllic, quiet and the area is large with many beautifully designed retreats.I also really like the website. ☺️I will definitely come here more often because it is ideal if you want to get away from city life and enjoy a few books in peace. 👍🏻The selection of books is huge - really (!) huge, which means I didn't even have to take mine with me, but could browse through the shelves and then sit inside in one of the armchairs or sofas (in very coolly designed rooms) or outside on the one Reading on chairs, benches or adjustable loungers. The small shop in the Gutshotel has many small treasures and souvenirs to take with you as a reminder of the good times. The food is also very tasty.I really liked the breakfast period as I'm not an early riser. And there is a good selection of vegetarian or vegan options. What I found unfortunate was that there was unfortunately no neck pillow available to borrow if needed. But that was the only small drawback, which is far overshadowed by the many great things.Oh yes, there is a beautiful forest less than 15 minutes walk away. And there is a sunny meadow that is also a fantastic star-gazing meadow. 🤩Therefore great!!! 5 out of 5 stars
