The food is always very good there. The rooms are furnished with a lot of love. Nothing is missing. The service is always warm and very good. The inn is very remote. That gives immense peace. The breakfast is excellent.

We were there today for potato pancakes, very nice service, but the potato pancakes were 100% made from mixed powder from a ready-made package, mushy consistency, no onions and no taste. To charge 17 euros for this, even with "all you can eat" - no one can afford more than 5 for these greasy items - is pretty steep. At a country inn you would actually expect homemade potato pancakes made from grated potatoes, with onions and spices. We were all disappointed and will go somewhere else next time. Even though Ms. Merkel was very accommodating😊

Here you can unwind and start the day with a very good and rich breakfast. From here you can go on bike rides or beautiful hikes. There are very good regional dishes here for lunch and dinner. Café and cake are also provided here and taste very tasty 😋 good cappuccino. The hosts are open to everything and respond to requests and are flexible. We will definitely be repeat offenders.

I had planned to celebrate my birthday at Sleeping Beauty with family and friends and then spend a few more days on vacation in the beautiful Odenwald. The organization in advance - from inquiry to room booking and arrangement - no problem. The celebration went well, my guests really enjoyed it. Me too, of course. Despite the large rush of day guests, the Merkel family team were friendly and helped me (unconsciously) calm down from my excitement (is everything working?). The food was very tasty, the cake was highly recommended and the breakfast was also very good. Above all, that regional and own products were available.Yes, the guesthouse is older, but nicely furnished, the beds are good, balcony with a view of the valley and everything is clean.Many thanks to the entire team. I wish you all all the best. We'll definitely see each other again.Best regards

A friendly, friendly hotel in a particularly beautiful, quiet outskirts location. Ideal for cyclists. We were there with a group of cyclists, everyone was thrilled. The rooms have the charm of the 60s but are clean and more than sufficient. The boss, Mr. Merkel, is standing at the stove himself and brings a great meal to the plate. The boss, Ms. Merkel, is a pastry chef and is responsible for service. When you're in Sleeping Beauty, you should definitely try Mrs. Merkel's Quark dumplings.

Well, the location and the boss are more nice, but I think the Viennese schnitzel with fries without salad at 17 euros is a bit overpriced. And it wasn't anything special, next time we'll just have a drink there.

This guesthouse with inn and small beer garden is tucked away in an absolutely idyllic place. We (4 friends) received a very friendly welcome. We had booked a rose and an apple room. Both were lovingly decorated. The Rose Room already had a new bathroom. Everything was very clean and we all slept very well. Breakfast very tasty and sustainable without plastic. You could get freshly prepared scrambled eggs. Yes, overall the guesthouse and the guest room are a bit old, but it also has a special flair. We'll definitely be back.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to find a decent hotel with a good restaurant in the Odenwald. We were twice as lucky with Sleeping Beauty. Even the non-renovated room (there are also renovated ones!) …

We came here for the first time for Christmas fondue (before Corona) and were immediately impressed by the warm hospitality. Everything was super organized. Unfortunately the fondue was in broth and that's not our cup of tea. The following year we ate a'la carte and it was all very tasty. At that time we also stayed overnight and enjoyed the lovely, great breakfast. The rooms are simple but nice. Everything is clean here anyway! Then there is the cellar boutique with the tastiest things in the world made from apple cider. Taking a look is highly recommended.Yesterday we went for crepe coffee. It's unbelievable what Carola and her team are doing. It was jam-packed, but once again everything was superbly organized. I was only able to photograph the incredibly beautiful large crepe buffet when it slowly became empty. Kreppel in all variations and flavors. It is impossible to find the tastiest one out of 20 varieties. There is everything your heart desires. But the most important thing: nothing is dripping with fat! The crepes are light (even with a cream filling), don't stick and taste simply divine.No matter what you eat or do here, whether it's crowded or a holiday: Carola and her team are in a good mood, friendly and fast.
