Nice and very clean room. Helpful staff and good German cusine. View tower is an additional attraction at side. I recommend to stay here for some time.

Food was very tasty and reasonably priced.Staff should work on their motivation! With a party of over 20 people, it is absurd that all the glasses are empty for over half an hour and the waitress at the counter is playing with her cell phone.

Very quiet location. Beautiful view. Delicious dishes prepared with love, friendly staff who also accommodate special requests.A beautiful playground for the children has been newly built. You can also climb the observation tower and enjoy a beautiful view over Neustadt.

We spontaneously went to the restaurant in the afternoon on Ascension Day and it was good, but not too busy.The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the Ungerturm. It has indoor seating but also a large terrace. There is a playground right next to it.The service was ok, but it took a long time to be served and the service wasn't very friendly.We had beer and a small meal. Unfortunately, the beer was poorly carbonated and the food was just average.You can stop here for a short break during a hike, but I wouldn't come here specifically for this restaurant.

Great atmosphere and great location. However, the portions of the food are too small and the price/performance ratio is no longer right. The quality of the food is not outstanding either and is average for the prices. We were all still hungry after the main course, which was very noticeable.Unfortunately, this restaurant is no longer recommended.A few years ago we really enjoyed eating here and were always very satisfied.But apparently the Corona pandemic has left a clear mark here, because the quality has fallen but the prices have risen. Really a shame.

Quaint excursion hotel in the middle of the Ungerberg. Playground for children and you can climb the tower during opening times. Kitchen very good. Everything is freshly prepared. Highly recommended.

The Ungerberg with its little tower and the view is always worth a trip. But we will steer clear of the restaurant in the future.The service staff was friendly, but everything else doesn't even deserve a star. Right from the start there was a feeling of déjà vu: When we asked about the allergen menu, we were told that it wouldn't be of any use to us because all dishes are labeled with all allergens. We have already experienced this “phenomenon” on the Götzinger Höhe. At that time we were able to take a look at the allergen menu: every dish was accompanied by all the letters and numbers. Here the vegan dish also had milk and eggs. This is absolutely negligent and actually worth reporting (to DEHOGA etc.)! The health of the guests is being played here.Apart from that, the dishes were carelessly prepared and tasted of nothing. The fish was dry, lukewarm and musty and definitely frozen, as were the side dishes. How little entitlement can you actually have? And to then charge 19 euros for it is an absolute disgrace.There are some really good inns in the area that go to great lengths to cook everything fresh and charge just as much or even less for their great food. The Unger restaurant is definitely not one of them and that is why we will not recommend it whenever necessary.

Due to its many access and ascent routes, the Ungerberg is always a popular hiking destination. Once at the top, a good kitchen rewards the hungry hiker and the newly designed playground is a successful upgrade for families with children. The tower offers a great panorama over the Neustädter Valley, as well as Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland.
