A regular visitor to this restaurant. Meals tailored to the restaurant class and a variety of wine pairings. It still doesn't offer many options for wine by the glass. Price and service are advantages. Highly recommended restaurant!

We can't understand the bad reviews. We spontaneously went to the “Alte Pfarrey” because we were “traveling through” to Italy with our dog. Everyone was very friendly here, the atmosphere is very nice. Our room was nice too, of course the “dog room” isn’t always the best, but it was very spacious and really nicely furnished and fit very well. We ate excellently, classically, but with a slightly more modern interpretation. We had a wonderful evening, our dog was allowed to go to the restaurant, which was of course a highlight for us after the long journey. And who complains that it tasted “bland”? All we can say is that it was a sign for us that it wasn't convenience, but that you could actually taste all the herbs, etc. That made it special for us that not everything was overly seasoned. The cooking point of both the scallop and the meat was perfect. By the way, we were asked directly on the phone whether we had any food intolerances or something similar. would have. You could mention that you are a vegetarian and I'm sure that would be taken into account. By the way, we also liked the breakfast because we don't like buffets. And you can go hiking in the Palatinate and in the surrounding area, which we also enjoyed in the morning. We recommend this nice restaurant 100% and would be happy to come back. Thank you for the lovely experience.

The Alte Pfarrey is still a wonderful, romantic place with top cuisine. We had one of the panoramic rooms with a spiral staircase to the great roof terrace! Absolutely recommended! Our 5 course menu was entertaining and super tasty. Only newcomers themselves felt extremely sleepy. Gastronomy, wineries, everything on a Saturday afternoon in the middle of August.🙃😏

Guest room in an attached winter garden and therefore in a rathernot historical ambience, as we actually expected. The furnishings were also rather spartan.The service was very sober, at least anything but warm. This started with the purchase of the voucher, continued with the telephone reservation and ended with the on-site service.Our four and six course menus left nothing to be desired! The exquisite ingredients were creatively and tastefully combined at the highest level! The accompanying wines were also perfectly selected!Conclusion: We will come back!

We found the food excellent. Imaginatively designed menu, visually and tastefully very good. Large wine selection. Attentive service.Together with the opportunity to stay overnight in one of the very nice rooms, it's a complete deal.We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

We were there on a Wednesday. With reservation (recommended) and with the overnight package. We were served excellently and each course was a taste explosion in itself. That's why I can't understand the negative posts. If I go to a star restaurant, I clarify any intolerances and a meal for children in advance.The location as such is unique in the middle of the medieval town of Neuleiningen. Be sure to explore on foot!
