Terriffic food, fish from home ground. |You taste the freshness. Soup also very good.|My wife ate the trout, I ate the salmon. Both were superb. Because my wife does not like to remove the grails, they did it for her. No problem at all!|The surroundings as well as the serving was more then good.

a very distinguished service with an eye on the clients needsas there was a birthday which was not announced - they also served a very nice cake as a surprise.The meal was wonderfulThanks to our lady who was taking care of our table - She was vigilant tb read our wishes o that occasion of a birthday lunch.

Yes the location is fantastic and the hotel rooms also nice despite the insects problem that won’t let us sleep…but the reception was unfriendly and the prices are overpriced.even the restaurant is overpriced for what they offer. Specially with dessert’s.When it’s dark you can’t see anything because there is no light ,they must do something about that and there is also not clear guidelines through the rooms and the lake

Another wonderful place discovered recently.Beside the great natural location, you may find some dishes very well prepared (I guess the secret stays in fresh, local ingredients), a choice of nice wines and a kind and efficient service. The two halls nicely decorated, separated by the kitchen are creating an intimate atmosphere.I guess that there might be people complaining about a slightly outdated look, but for me that's exactly what gives a place it's own personality and charm, as long as everything is clean, functional, and in good shape.One of the places were I would go back whenever I'll have the chance.As a bonus, lot of hiking and mountainbike trails around can help burnings some calories before or after, so you can enjoy the delicious meal without restrictions 😃

Very professional and friendly staff who seem to be enjoy and are very good at customer service and deal with complaints very quickly, professional and courteously.Perfectly cooked steak on the terrace, and great view of the lake with it.The only negative, and its not entirely the hotels fault - all the staff leave at 8PM due to Coronavirus, there is no bar to sit in with a drink in the evening, or anywhere to get a drink, so after 8pm your choices of entertainment are limited to your own company with supplies you arranged beforehand, or walk around the lake with night vision googles if you have them. Perfectly dark at night.If you have a good book or company to get you through the evening, all good.However, that being said, great service, great location, very pleasant and friendly staff.P.S. Mobile reception is terrible there. Not a bad thing, get off your phone its a beautiful place.

We visited for lunch. It was fairly busy but we managed to get a table without booking. Beautiful area for walking and cycling. Beautiful views from the restaurant over the lake. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious.

A great location at a nice lake. The abandoned railroad nearby was a target for geocachers for years.You can take a walk through the woods on the other side of the main road. Very nice area with many things to discover.There are also meals for vegetarians and at least one for vegans.

I have enjoyed this restaurant for over 18 years and I continue to consider it one of the best restaurants in Germany. The trout is raised on the premises and they offer many meat & fish selections along with the typical German dishes.
