We were here at the Bartlinghof in July 2024 with our grandchildren (5 and 2 years old) and were able to enjoy every day. There are cows, pigs, ponies, goats, sheep, cats and chickens here. The owner Esther looks after the children lovingly and goes on the evening feeding rounds with them.The holiday apartments are clean and sensibly furnished, there is a bread delivery service and a swimming lake as well as a swimming pool and optionally a sauna. Sufficient outdoor toys round off the stay for children, a special highlight are the two Kettcars.We felt very comfortable and can only warmly recommend a holiday with children on this farm. It was a great first family vacation in East Frisia. The family on the farm is friendly and helpful. Our 5 year old had a lot to discover and was always on the go. Our baby was able to enjoy the fresh air with a quiet walk. The heated swimming pool is the icing on the cake.

Mega. A holiday farm where you'll be happy to return. A dream for children. The owner is very child-friendly. Lots of tame animals. There are pigs, cats, dogs, chickens, goats and of course ponies and horses. And also toys that are fun. The rooms are clean and well furnished. There is even a swimming pool included free of charge. Optionally with sauna. As extras there is a laundry service (bed linen) and bread roll service. My recommendation is that every guest should book as well. Fresh eggs and honey can also be purchased cheaply locally. You can't say anything about the price. Every euro is well spent here. It is quiet in the area and great for relaxing. There are parking spaces directly at the house.There are also many good restaurants nearby. And also various shopping opportunities.

A very nice farm with a very nice hostess. The perfect place for families and those who need a break from everyday life. Our accommodation and the swimming pool were in a well-maintained condition and well equipped.Thank you again for the bread roll service.We'll definitely be back!

We can highly recommend the hosts and the location. We don't know the rooms because we rented there ourselves and not as a holiday guest. However, we are sure that the charm of the farmhouse and the care of the Bartling family have created a wonderful hostel here.

We spent a week on the farm and were really impressed.It is a small farm with a manageable number of animals that, among other things, can spend their retirement there.The animals are lovingly cared for and the children can go into the barns almost any time to look at the animals and get up close and personal.For the children there are also playhouses and toys, swings and lots to discover. We particularly liked the feeding session every evening, which our daughter always looked forward to. Feeding the chickens, collecting eggs and mixing "muesli" for the pigs - the children were allowed to take part in all the steps and were included.The heated swimming pool on site including a sauna was a great way to retreat when the weather was bad.The apartment was equipped with everything necessary. TV, WiFi, kitchen etc. everything is available. The bread roll service every morning was also great. Our little one was happy to check on the bag every morning.The hostess was always open to questions and you always felt like you were in good hands.We immediately booked a week for next year and are already looking forward to a week on the farm again.
