Lovely spot for lunch, simple and fresh ingredients combined with an unbeatable location. Very nice service personnel, too! The heated terrace is very comfortable.

A lovely little hotel with only 3 rooms.There is no restaurant in the house, but delicious breakfasts and options for eating are within walking distance.Guests have access to a large refrigerator from which they can help themselves to wine and water (which is then billed for at the end).So you can end the day comfortably on the terrace of the house :)

Super nice guesthouse. We were warmly welcomed by the host, the hosts are super nice. We had a rich breakfast that left nothing to be desired. The rooms were beautifully decorated and clean. In the evening you could sit on the terrace and have a very nice view of Dernau with a glass of wine.

Nice little guesthouse with a wonderful view of Dernau. The hosts are very friendly and open. Since there are only 3 guest rooms, it is very cozy and familiar. Everything is clean and tidy. The bathroom looked newly renovated and the rooms were relatively modern. We slept very well in the beds. Wi-Fi and television were available in the rooms. In the guest room you could take drinks from the refrigerator at any time, which you could then pay for with the final bill. There are always bottles of wine here if you haven't had enough of them during the day ;-)In the morning there was a delicious and extensive breakfast with eggs, 2 rolls and delicious bread for everyone, yogurt, fruit salad, sausage and cheese.The guesthouse is a good starting point for hikes in the Ahr Valley. There is also a guest card upon arrival with which you can use the bus and train for free.

Very nicely located. Very friendly reception and greeting from the landlady. Beautiful, bright room with bathroom and view of the vineyards, delicious, lovingly prepared, rich breakfast. Various options for having breakfast in the winter garden with a view of the Ahr valley and the vineyards or in the breakfast room. Wine and other drinks can be purchased on-site for consumption at reasonable prices. Recommended at any time.

Very nice and accommodating hosts.A great guesthouse, with beautiful and above all clean rooms, everything lovingly designed and with a wonderful view over Dernau and the vineyards.The cherry on top is the excellent breakfast ☕🥪🍓

In the afternoon, after a really strenuous hike and only half an hour to spare, we and 8 people came to the Ahrklause to reward ourselves with a piece of cake. The prices are moderate to cheap, the coffee is delicious and the cake, homemade, is simply a dream. The service is top - we didn't wait 5 minutes for our order and the waitress was at the table straight away, even though it was quite busy. Even the toilet was clean and even had extra toilet paper seats to put over it. I was really impressed, as the place is not very hygienic. I'd love to come back here!

I was accommodated there as part of private assistance.It was very clean, the food was excellent.A good prospect even considering the circumstances (January 2022). And extremely friendly people. I will gladly come again.
