The location is nice, because it's close on a sandy beach and some camp places are in the sand too. BUT: This campground doesn't provide any infrastructure. It's still barely renovated since post soviet times. The roads and parking are bumpy and muddy. Cones will damage your car. The few toilets and showers are highly frequented and accordingly dirty. The sad looking concrete atmosphere with low quality fast food both doesn't help either. And the most ridiculous thing: we paid altogether 620€ for a tent without electricity for a week in main season, 2 Adults and 1 child. Don't get fooled from the price on the website, they will add money for parking (which you have to pay since there is nothing to leave your car in the whole area), energy fee (which is ridiculous since you don't have any energy) and some natural preserve taxes. You are better of with a rental flat.

Beautiful campsite directly by the shore of the Baltic Sea. Several restaurants in the center of the site. Small but well sorted supermarket, ice cream parlor, animation program. The bathrooms and showers were cleaned more than once a day and did not appear outdated. Staff were kind and always there in a professional manner. At night the area has a security service.Still, this is a campsite, don't expect it to be a fancy place and be aware that you'll be camping in the dunes and can't access the site by car. This means that you'll have to carry your entire equipment through fine sand up and down the dunes or put it on the available luggage trolleys (physically challenging). Latest after 24hrs you're likely to have sand everywhere in tent, caravan and clothes. Trailers and mobile homes are pulled through the dunes with a tractor.Summed up I'd say that if you take all factors into account you can have a unique and wonderful holiday here which will stay in your memories.

Kind of primitive, long distance to sandy, dirty showers. We set our tent up in the dunes, and the beach is lovely.

Location * * * * *Washrooms * *Cleanness * * *Staff attitude *WiFi *I would recommend the camp however prepare for some unfriendly, unhelpful staff at front dest (note all but some). The check in lady is reasonably helpful, but it is not acceptable that there is one person in the check in room on Saturday morning and there are 6 people in the line up (each takes minimum 15-20 minutes). Once you get past that little bump, enjoy a great beach location. It can be and will be crowded here but it is wonderful nonetheless. WiFi connects but offeres very slow connection - Vodafone has no signal here. Some motorhome spots are full of water when it's raining. Village shops and restaurants cost more than in Munich during Oktoberfest and Kur taxes are rediculously high. But again - camping on the beach... :-)

The worst campground I've ever visited. Despite that it is incredibly expensive (in comparison to nearby ones), it does not provide any possibility to enjoy the beautiful nature around in the national park. You'll fell like in a crowded "city" with its own "public transport" and own anthem. Also we had almost no choice where to camp and they'll allocate you a lot you have to stay. WiFi was included for only one hour and even that did not work. And worst of all I never got the feeling that they care about the surrounding sensitive costal environment in any way.

Most beautiful beach ever seen in Germany. Camping ground stretches along the beach for kilometers. Friendly and helpful staff. It's not cheap but worth every Euro! But beware the Mosquitos. They can ruin and make the otherwise relaxing stay a nighmare!

Beautiful place with sea view. Sanitary facilities ok but could be better. We paid almost 50 Euros for one night under the tent so it was quite expensive compared to other campings.
