My adult son and I stayed here for two nights so we could try one of the many hikes and bike trails. The one we chose started at the campsite gate and was an excellent exploration of the surrounding hills and medieval fortress complex. …

Campingplatz Neudahner Weiher is a beautifully located campsite on the banks of a lovely lake. The facilities are decent with a shower/toilet block and separate room for washing up. …

So happy to find this beautiful campsite to break up our journey. Great welcome, super clean showers and toilets (with loo paper). Lots of hot water. We had a lovely evening walk up to the rocks and castle. Refreshing morning swim to get us on our way.Bring fly repellent in June or burn some incense....lots of midges. Will definitely stop here again!

Absolutely wonderful camp site, a lovely friendly welcome too.The facilities are immaculate and are underneath the main house. There's a beautiful "brown lake" to swim in with relatively easy access at various points marked by wooden stakes and solar lights if you want to swim in the dark! There is a bar next door too which is an added bonus, it also serves food be warned though it closes early at around 2100 hours.

Really good place on the lake, beautiful surroundings, great showers/toilets and very friendly, helpful staff. For campers who don't book in advance: the toilet block can only be opened with key you get when you check in, so if you arrive after the reception is closed you can end up like us - not having access to showers and toilets for the night

Quiet peaceful site with immaculate toilet block. Lake to swim in and numerous walking/biking trails. Lovely wooded valley full of birdsong Bit expensive particularly with the 3 euro per night local tax. Bar/restaurant with fresh bread available daily to order.
