The area is difficult to reach without a car; there are no shops; 3 out of 4 restaurants were closed down and the street pattern is a complete maze.

Very remote but still no peace at night, due to neighbors partying loudly, especially in Heideweg.

Due to the many new buildings it has lost some of its holiday village charm. The biggest drawback of the remaining holiday apartments is the lack of internet connection. That's a shame, but maybe just the thing for people looking for a detox. :) It's supposed to be different with the houses, but they are probably privatized. The area is and remains beautiful. Apartment was clean and in good condition. There's nothing you can say. Have a beautiful holiday!

It appears that there is a lot of permanent residence in the park. We had a house in a row where the other houses on both sides were empty and under renovation. …

Quiet surroundings and beautiful house. The kitchen is microscopic, but offers everything you need. Except an oven. The house was clean, the staff was always available and very friendly. If you want to clean the house yourself, you have to bring your own cleaning supplies. A broom was nowhere to be found, but there was a vacuum cleaner.Only the unventilated bathroom on the upper floor develops a strong smell.I think the environment is not very child-friendly. There is a small outdoor swimming pool and otherwise just golf and forest. It's not far to the Rhine, so if the child is into castles and boat trips, it won't be boring there.

Maybe ok for overnight stays... but you can do that anywhere else! You have your own terrace and (depending on which house you get) a great view too!We wanted two houses right next to each other... but it doesn't seem to have mattered. There wasn't... the most negative thing is the unclean condition! Dirty floor, cobwebs in the place...There is also no oven or microwave, so you can't even heat up or bake anything. It's nice that there are enough bathrooms and 3 toilets per bathroom...My tip for renting:Clean up... more attention to detail and different shower heads... every rain shower has more power! 🤷🏼‍♂️
