Very nice and taken care off mountain hotel, with scenic views and a backyard with alpakas.The owners are extremely kind, have good knowledge of the region and will make you feel at home.

Very beautiful place with its special atmosphere. There are many friendly Czech employees. The meals are delicious and interesting. The kids enjoyed watching Alpakas. The nature and views around are breathtaking.

We were there with our grandchildren and had a very interesting and educational hike. Our young guide gets an A with a star. An educated and very friendly young man. We learned a lot of interesting things about the smart alpacas and were able to get to know and appreciate them. In the restaurant we were served quickly and very friendly. The prices are very cheap by today's standards. I can only recommend it and would love to come back!!!

We went there for dinner last Friday after the historical village tour in Hinterhermsdorf.An easy walk from Hinterhermsdorf there.The herbal hut is idyllically located in the forest and the outdoor dining area is invitingly cozy.The staff in our case were friendly and accommodating, so you can't fault it.The food was very goodMy friend had a wild herb soup that at first thought would be creamy but it wasn't. But as a classic soup, it tasted very good.I had a spicy meat which also tasted very good, also homemade like the soup.When it came to beer, my girlfriend had the light Pilsner style and I had the dark one. Both beers are delicious, but with the dark one you have to like a strong malty taste.The main course at my friend's was grilled chicken breast on nettle spinach with fried polenta slices.I chose the wild boar goulash made from local wild boar with sauerkraut and Bohemian dumplings.The dishes were decorated with flowers and herbs that went well with it.Overall just greatWe'd love to come back next time we're in the area

We spent a very nice family weekend in the Hexenhäusl of the herb hut. There is space for 7 adults and up to 4 children. (4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms).The food in the restaurant tastes great, the breakfast was also sufficient. Every single employee was very friendly and accommodating. We also went on an alpaca hike with Mambo and Lennox. Not only do you explore a small part of the area, you also learn a lot about the animals.Thank you for the relaxing time!

The herb hut is a really rustic location in the middle of the forest.It's just a shame that the kitchen can't keep up with the ambience.The wild herb soup for €6.10 was nothing more than a small bowl of colored water, and there wasn't even a slice of bread.The same bowl filled with Ragout Fin for €6.95 included real Flwisch and there was even bread on the side.The price/performance ratio isn't right at all and given the great location, that's an absolute no-go!
