Arrived late - and the host waited for us already. Room has been quite large, but look-a-like has been different from the Photos. Quite basic,but clean and all there what you would expect. So a good deal. Would definitley recommend.

Super cozy room and a really great breakfast. Even though we only arrived at 7 p.m. we were greeted very warmly. Gladly again.

Loving family business in a beautifully restored former monastery. The food in the country inn was excellent and the price was absolutely right. The rooms are very spacious and lovingly furnished. The breakfast was very extensive and there was enough time for a pleasant, informative morning chat from the landlady. Only recommended.

Great country inn in an old monastery just outside Straubing. Breakfast was excellent and the room was a nice size! You can have a great dinner right next door!

Excellent stopover in this presbytery where we had a comfortable, very quiet room in a tiny typical village. Warm welcome from this couple who run the establishment.Breakfast ok.As for the cuisine, no luck for us, it was the closing day, and so we went to Reggenburg to dine in an excellent weinstube. I highly recommend.

The guesthouse is further away from the city center/old town, but is very well located if you ride the Danube cycle path.With the e-bike we were in the city center in 10 minutes.The owner was very nice. I found it strange and slightly uncomfortable that she referred to our skin color when she asked us about our breakfast preferences. A simple question about preferences would have been enough, but that is probably due to the region. I didn't hear any hostility. By the way, the breakfast the next morning was very lovingly prepared and definitely worth it for the price.The rooms are very nice. A bathroom was built in our room that is reminiscent of a large airplane toilet (it's all kind of plastic), but still very clean and big enough, so that's not a point of criticism.Overall very good for the price.

The rooms are simply furnished, the beds are very comfortable with good, not too hard mattresses. Shower has good pressure and nice hot water. Towels are changed daily.Breakfast is served in a beautiful room with a cross vault (probably the monks' refectory in the former Sossau monastery), it is sufficient with cheese, sausage, eggs and some snack vegetables.The welcome from the nice owner was very friendly despite my delay.There is a shed for cyclists to adjust their bikes.The food in the associated restaurant was excellent, I recommend the crusted roast. There are also plenty of vegetarian options on the menu, such as mushrooms with dumplings.All in all, nothing to complain about.

Accommodation that is practically located on the Danube cycle path and has a lot of potential because you are staying in an old monastery. Unfortunately, the only reminder of this is the beautiful old room door; The furniture is old-fashioned and a plastic bathroom was built into the room. That could certainly be nicer. Breakfast was mediocre, the place boasts of a plastic-free newspaper article on the wall, but breakfast is on the table covered with foil. It would also have been nice to have more fresh fruit. Plus points: very quiet and great restaurant.

Quiet accommodation, unfortunately the mattresses were completely worn out. Breakfast was rather average. Highly recommended inn with beer garden, good prices and delicious food
