We've stayed here for two weeks from mid to the end of August this summer. And were here last summer in September for a week as well.The Ferienwohnungen/apartments are well equipped and comfortable (even in the heat of summer) although no dishwasher or washing machine so it's back to basics for that. The couple that run the apartments are nice and low-key.The location is great if you aren't fussed about being close to Lake Constance/Bodensee (closest spot is about 25 minutes drive), which we weren't because it makes no difference to our 3 year old. It's definitely quiet and relaxing. Also convenient as it's 10 minutes to either Meßkirch or Pfullendorf and just under 20 minutes to Sigmaringen for shopping and eating out. Great area to ride as well with loads of cycling tracks shared with farms.In Pfullendorf there's a wonderful play area for babies and toddlers at Seepark Linzgau. That's the main reason we decided to head back again this summer. You can also swim at the lake or try wakeboarding at Seepark Linzgau.About 15 minutes away heading towards Sigmaringen, just outside of Krauchenwies is Strandbad Krauchenwies which is a great place to spend half a day or so at the lake.Finally there is also wireless internet access available for people staying there. It's installed in the hallway of one set of apartments so the signal does not carry to all apartments. I'm embarrassed to report this because I should really have used the opportunity to fully unplug but I found it useful for reading the news and even watching some rugby highlights while my son was taking his (2-3!!) hour afternoon naps.I really do recommend it so a chill summer break

The holiday apartment is tastefully and comfortably furnished. The equipment is high quality. The breakfast is lovingly prepared and very rich with a large selection of bread rolls. We felt very comfortable there.

I lived in Rumpelstiltskin for almost 4 weeks and worked in the village. My time here was wonderful. The hosts are super nice and I felt like I was at home. They were always helpful and immediately there when I needed something.The holiday apartment was very cozy with lots of wood and the terrace was perfect for sunbathing when the weather was nice. The breakfast was super tasty and generous.The bus through the village takes you to Pfullendorf or Meßkirch every hour, which is why you can easily go on holiday here without a car.Thank you for my great time.

Do you want to spend a quiet vacation with your family in nature, in comfortable rooms equipped with natural materials for your comfort? My daughter and I spent a wonderful week in the holiday apartment 'Frau Holle'. The apartment is lovingly designed with lots of wood and offers everything you need.The hosts Annemarie and Didi welcome their guests like family. As soon as we arrived we drank coffee together. One evening there was a great barbecue for all guests. It is rare to experience such hospitality. It was simply indescribably nice to sit together with the two of them and the other guests in the evening.We arrived as guests and left as friends!

10 days of dream vacation with a very nice, friendly family. The rooms are very comfortable and above all you get enough rest and relaxation. The food is tasty and everyone gets their money's worth. I can highly recommend this idyllic little inn and accommodation and my 3 children loved it too. We'll definitely be back. 👍

You can really have a magical sleep in the rustic holiday apartments. Absolutely quiet location, the furnishings are entirely made of wood, some of which have ancient beams. Very nice, warm hosts. I've been here twice and would love to come back again.

This was our third time here and we stayed three nights! Unfortunately the vacation was over, otherwise we would have enjoyed it even longer!We're already looking forward to the next time... it's almost like coming home!Everything was perfect again!A great holiday apartment, rich and delicious food and a familiar and very warm atmosphere!!!
