The fact that this place has an overall rating of above 1 astonishes me. We stayed here last night as a spontaneous last minute trip. We were disgusted to say the least. We were in disbelief to how this place is allowed to trade. Rooms were very dirty and outdated with mismatched furniture and linen. There was visible mould and grime around the rooms, mainly in the bathroom. None of us showered like we intended to because the showers were so dirty we felt uncomfortable. Slept terribly as woken up at 2am dithering because it was so freezing in the room you could see your breath. We are itchy today and I myself have actually been bitten multiple times on my arms. Please avoid staying here. Location was brilliant and we had an amazing time in Blackpool itself but I don't feel it would be ethical to rate this place more than 1 star

i am incredibly disheartened by the state of our rooms. Wallpaper was barely hanging for life on the wall , there was visible mould of each of our rooms , one of our bedroom windows wouldn’t open and the other room wouldn’t shut ! the radiator was held off the floor by a block of wood , very very old fashioned felt like i was walking into a teenagers bedroom. I found someone else dna in the shower so that was fun to wake up to , no soap and no towels , the location though actually really good , was really really close to the beach , would rate this -900 stars if i could , thanks

Hotel was disgusting , was nothing like the pictures online the mattresses were stained and covered in dried pee, the people who worked there were allowing junkies in there and also drinking with guests! A definitely WOULDNT recommend they charged us over £600 then also had the check to charge us another £35 for parking! Wont be returning!

Vile and disgusting are just some of the words that I would use to describe this horrific hotel ,if we can even call it that. The smell of damp and sheer dirt hits you as you walk in the front door at that point I should known better and just turned around and walked back out .. but I thought I would give it a chance and I was intrigued see what the accommodation would be like, upon entering the room the site before my eyes was beyond my comprehension !! And the smells that accompany it .. There are no words really to describe such vileness, I wouldn’t even allow my animals to sleep one night in that room, I took my bag and myself back to my car, as I refuse to stop in such decay, I was terrified of taking bedbugs back to my own home. the photos that I’ve uploaded don’t even show the dirt and grime, or let alone the smell from this disgusting house of horrors . And as for the two ladies if we can call them that , that are running the place my God they looked dirtier than what the carpets did.

The pillow which you only get one is wafer thin. The bed was so uncomfortable, dirty windows, mouldy shower, no towels, no soap, a loo roll if you’re lucky. …

The bed was not comfortable at all, you could feel the springs on every part of the mattress, and the pillow was as thin as the pillowcase provided. We got hardly any sleep. The curtains were hanging off, the window handles were broken so couldn't be shut properly and wallpaper was hanging off the walls. The water took ages to warm up and they provided no soap for the shower or any hand wash to clean your hands, they did not provide any hand towels or towels for use after the shower they do how ever stick a £1.50 per towel witch iv never seen in any hotel iv stayed in before, We found doughnuts in the drawer of the bed and ketchup and sticky stuff all over the unit. The room obviously hadn't been cleaned thoroughly which was evident from the unhoovered dirty carpet. The places had a musty smell and could smell smoke from the smokers all around the building. When leaving in the morning, there was nowhere to leave the key and when we got the attention of the owner at 9 am we were greeted by a woman in a dressing gown. Very unprofessional. This was a last minute booking and I think if this was offered again I'd rather sleep in my car. Tv didn't work, no signal on the TV and couldn't be tuned in, I know you don't go away to watch tv but I feel if it's broke it shouldn't be there.

The only positive thing about this hotel is the location isn't too far from the sea front, the staff we barely saw we were not warmly greeted by the receptionist who hardly seemed interested. We were asked if we wanted to check the room first which I found unusual but oh how I wish we had, the walls were stained with god knows what to tje point i wanted to pull the bed out to stop the kids touching them but the ladder to the bunkbes was already against the opposing wall meaning you had to hop off of it to get down, the antenna socket was hanging off the wall, the bed sheet had a rip and I darent check the mattress as there was no where else avaliable at such short notice we could find for less then 110 per night ( premier inn) as it was pride weekend. All the windows but one had been painted shut and 2 of these had boards covering the smashed windows with gaps that let the breeze and some water in which was a blessing as the heating was on full blast with no clear way to turn it off. The bathroom floor hadn't been mopped and had visible dirt stains and someone else's hair not to mention the shower itself left me wondering if there was any point trying to (clean) myself as it was covered in rust and grout was black and mouldy as was the sealant which complimented the cracked tiles and broken towel rail but given the fact they dont give you any towel unless you want to pay extra its probably for the best ( luckily primark is a 7min drive so we bought our own so we knew they would be clean). There was a hole which if you took the bottom drawer out of the wardrobe you could see straight into the bathroom where they had installed the toilet, there was left over food in the drawers which was funny considering you aren't aloud to take food upto the rooms. At night you could hear people's literal conversations which was a nice distraction from the missing wall paper and karaoke coming from somewhere. We had to pay an additional £15 for a peice of paper to stick in my window and that they aren't responsible for any damages, being a blue badge holder I would have just used that if I had known. I honestly don't know how they don't have some sort of standards they have to keep to my only saving grace is o diddnt order any food as I'm not sure judging by the rooms it would have been anything to brag about. It seemed more like a bail hostel then a hotel if there were hygiene ratings like you get in restaurants in pretty sure it would be condemned. If the family from shameless managed to run a hotel I imagine this would be it, please avoid if you have any standards or aren't fully vaccinated. I just wish I took more pictured but the previous negative reviews aren't a lie and oh I wish they were

Awful, grim and depressing place avoid at all costs! Don't care how cheap this place might be or might seem a place should always have a good enough degree of cleanliness for families and all other guests particularly if you want regular customers! This place is a disaster with no care or consideration for people visiting and coming for a holiday or break away! Cleanliness and "handy work" is a disgrace! Place needs closing down and starting again! Only good things are the location and the door out of the place
