Hotel very basic but reflected in price, very clean and not noisy considering its central location. Staff couldn’t have been nicer, all very helpful & friendly. Nice bar & restaurant in hotel. Shops, bars & restaurants in close proximity. Would definitely stay again for convenience.

chosen for its reputation and price. Not let down. Friendly welcome and great room on the fifth floor away from any possible noise. Room large enough to contain two sofas but none!  …

The 2 staff members that we really saw ( on checking in and checking out ) were very polite and helpful . I just found the bed uncomfortable. We had a stained pillowcase and bedsheet . …

The staff here are lovely. Sadly the comfort of the beds were tick hard. Pillows lumpy. We went for the ‘super’ in the hope of a better option. Sadly not so. I would suggest to save the 11 for a breakfast. …

Nice clean city centre hotel. Decent breakfast and does food at night as well. Booking ahead meant I got a good price.Rooms are nice and tidy, mattress is comfortable but the pillows are like slabs of concrete so I did not get a good night's sleep. Ended up rolling up a jumper instead so that is why I've deducted stars from the review.

Great location if going to Matthew street drinking as it’s only a 5 minute walk only reason I stop here. We stayed 2nd floor room 209 I wouldn’t recommend stopping on 2nd floor as the car park-bin area is right by the windows & there’s a stair case to the right. I under stand there’s going to be noise but workers whistling and banging really really loud at 5am on a Sunday morning Just isn’t on. Shouting pulling bins around I would say do it after 8-9am as guest want a lie in. Wasn’t happy at all. The room was clean & tidy so no complaints there. I did ask reception for a fan Friday when I checked in and was told I’ll get one. It never arrived at my room. Overall good room good location just take note of the noise if your this side of the building.

Good location, was within walking distance of Liverpool one, Matthew street and Royal Albert dock. The hotel itself, I was not impressed with.Rooms are very basic. When we went in there was a stale smell. Double bed and 2 camp beds pushed together. We left the notice on the door for the room to be cleaned and for clean towels. The towels were changed and bins were empty but that's as far as cleaning went. The floor wasn't hoovered and the bathroom wasn't cleaned.Breakfast: we paid for breakfast for 2 adults at 9.95 each and our child ate "free". Breakfast was very basic, hot breakfast.beans, Cumberland sausage rashers and scrambled egg, tea, coffee and juice available..cereal some came individually wrapped. Food edible but can get better for less elsewhere.

Nice hotel in an excellent location, perfect for the docks, Mathew Street and the shopping area. Rooms were spacious, only issue we had was there wasn't a bath, just a shower, and the room overlooked a small courtyard from where the bins were emptied and deliveries were made, this made for an unexpected early morning wake up call when the deliveries were made, however, when we mentioned this to the manager, he advised when we come again to request either a front facing room, or a room on the 5th floor or above. All in all a pleasant place to stay, and we would stay here again.
