Our room was very small, barely big enough to walk around the bed. No air, had to ask for a fan, it was small. Our room was in the front, lots of noise from traffic, people walking all night. A bright street light shining in our room all night. Had the window open every day, but no air flow as the doors are required to stay closed. The bathroom was ridiculously small. The air fan made a huge noise, yet it did not seem to work. The floors are not vacuumed. There is no place to set a suitcase or unpack. So, if you stay here, ask for a room in the back, cool seasons only, and pack lightly.

Overall great hotel stay. Gentleman at reception was super kind and informative of how to use the key card including information of how to leave and return the hotel at any time. Room was nice and clean, smelt fresh, but the bathroom was very small and had a damp smell overall simply due to its size. At £79 through Airbnb for two guests in one night at such a great location in London (just 11 minutes walk from the Victoria station) I can not complain. Would book again.

I called in advance and told them that if our flight was delayed, we'd may be late for check-in during regular hours. And yes, hour flight was late, which caused further delay, since it meant the tube was closed. However, the receptionist seemed annoyed. During our four-night stay, bedsheets weren't changed once. One had a visible yellow stain on it (from earlier), but we deemed it clean. However, no proper hotel would allow this on a guest room. Not that the hotel wasn't expensive enough. TVs are laughably small, but channels are plentiful. Not once during our visit were we greeted with hello or good morning when leaving or coming back, even though we passed within a meter of the receptionist. Seems, from a sign in the room, that you can order room service breakfast, but only from 9 to 12.None of the rooms have any kind of a/c, so don't go in the summer - rooms are scorching when it's above 18C or the sun is out. Also, don't use this hotel, if you are heavy - there are no lifts, and the stairs are really narrow. Of course they won't give in, but...And, if you bring something more than a suit, fitting any luggage in your room will be a hassle on your entire stay.Location is good though - price is not.

Needed somewhere to stay last minute and whilst the rooms were basic, they were clean and tidy. The hotel needs a freshen up but very reasonable prices and excellent location too.

Honest opinion so far- a little disappointing. I came to check in at 10pm and I was outside for 20 minutes ringing the buzzer and calling the phone with no answer. The guy finally came to the door and looked like we had woke him up. The website and hotel site I booked through stated free breakfast- even has pictures of breakfast and since I need to leave early I was hoping for this. I rang reception and they said "no free breakfast" and hung up the phone. I rang back and asked how much it is then and where to go and he said "no breakfast at all" and hung up again. The rooms are basic and I'm fine with that, but when we finally arrived at our room the door was unlocked and left open? I didn't feel safe due to this. Hopefully the rest of our stay improves.

Despite the bad reviews, it was a matter of booking this hotel or cancelling the trip. But I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the room I was booked into. …

Possibly the worst hotel experience I've ever had. From grumpy, check-in where I was instructed, not engaged, no humour and no common courtesy or manners, to the guy lying on a bed behind the counter telling me that as it was after 5pm (his work knock off time) he had no interest in answering any questions. The room: in the basement, yes, the basement. Tiny, the bathroom is one of those molded units with a springy floor that felt like it was going to give way, and had you walking like a drunk. There were 3 lights in the bathroom, only 1 worked. The toilet roll holder was broken, so the rolls were sitting on the cistern. The fan rattled like an old diesel generator, never went quiet and the shower curtain was mouldy. The shower gel caddy was empty and the only cleaner was a hand wash dispenser over the basin. There was a locked door between my room and the next, so any noise on the other side came straight through.Yes, it was quite cheap, but even at that price it managed to appear overpriced for what was offered. And so dirty.Absolutely dreadful.

Didn’t get robbed, sheets were clean, great location. That’s all that is good about this place. There was hair on the bathroom walls when we arrived- obviously not cleaned properly. Rooms are tiny, bathroom is absolutely awful- you’re basically showering on the toilet. Good luck if you’re taller than 5’6. Blood and makeup stains on the walls were off putting to say the least. Check in and out was easy, staff were fine. Wouldn’t recommend, but for the price it is what it is.

Bedbugs. I just stayed here with my boyfriend and despite checking the bed, woke up to find bed bugs crawling on the sheets at 1am! We packed up immediately and went downstairs to return our keycard only for the worker on a bed behind the counter to tell us that “they weren’t there yesterday.” No refund, we walked out and ended up paying so much more to find a clean hotel at 3am and had plane tickets for the morning, so we hardly got any sleep. The only good thing about this hotel is the location, which doesn’t justify lack of cleanliness and bed bugs. Save yourself the stress and hassle and book somewhere else.
