I will confess to being slightly nervous ahead of my stay having read recent reviews after I’d booked.Reports of dirty rooms, lift issues and poor service alarmed me. However my experience could not have been more removed from those reviews.Location is outstanding. We had a room overlooking Leicester Square. One could be forgiven for assuming that would be a little noisy but it’s absolutely fine.Room was spacious enough for a weekend stay; with great decor, well appointed and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom divine. The staff were friendly, polite and accommodating.Roof top terrace bar - outstanding views. Very busy on a Saturday evening but absolutely to be expected! This hotel offers superb value for money with a brilliant in house team who want to offer a great experience

Overpriced. We paid for Queen Premium, but did not get it. Was supposed to have chair/lounge in room, but nothing. Mattress hard. Stains on bathroom walls. Tight, small for the price. Location was good, but we won't stay at Leicester Sq. again. Noisy outside. Breakfast was excellent, we did that 5 out of 6 days. Expensive breakfast, but very well done. Overall, not a bad place but we will look for quieter places on next trip.

Great location. Close to Leister Square Station. We were given a free room upgrade. Very comfortable, clean and modern room. The front desk staff are very helpful with advice. The outstanding feature of this hotel is the rooftop bar and dining area. The buffet breakfast is excellent but there is also a choice off a breakfast menu.

Located in the heart of Leicester Square, this hotel has a great location next to shops, pubs, restaurants, casinos, and the underground. The front desk was always friendly, and check-in was a breeze. The room was nice but cramped even by UK standards. We did have a small balcony to enjoy and people watch. The on-site breakfast on the rooftop restaurant was quite nice. Our biggest struggle was the noise at night through all hours. Its the trade off for such a great location but we decided it would be better to stay two or three blocks outside the square next time. Overall the staff wete excellent.

Can't beat the location! Walkable to many sights.Very close to the Piccadilly Circus statio, which makes it easy to navigate central London. They also have a beautiful rooftop bar.We were upgraded to a room facing the square, and it was lovely! I would absolutely stay here again.

Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The restaurant team worked tirelessly providing 5* service including remembering us for breakfast from the previous day. The food was immense apart from possibly under done bacon!! We watched the team faultlessly replenish breakfast items constantly. The room was superb with mad views of the area, brilliant idea of heavy curtains to keep out the light. The air conditioning was beyond... and such a relief to the heat outside. The hotel wad absolutely cleaned perfectly and the decor sumptuous.

We recently took a trip to the city and stayed here and we couldn’t have been more happy with our stay! ||Whilst it was slightly on the pricier side compared to other hotels we were happy with what we got for that price. …

Chaps, Mo, and "H" hosted a lovely week for my nine-year-old daughter and I. I wanted a central base from which we could explore all London had to offer - on foot. Indigo was the perfect location - so much within 30 minutes walk. …

This is the second time I’m staying at this property. To be fair, this property has a very good location. Short walks to Chinatown, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden, etc. No shortage of food outlets, shopping, and other conveniences. In both stays, there were issues with the plumbing and lifts. I can understand that the property is old but overflowing toilet should not happen if regular and proper maintenance was done. What made the situation worse in my last stay (June 2024) was there was no apology given and the personnel that attended to my distressed call refused to change my room in the first instance, citing no similar room types available. This plumbing issue also happened in my stay during Christmas of 2022 and I was given a room change without putting up too much of fight. There are other issues, including one of the two lifts was not working in four out of the eight days of stay in June this year. The fire alarm went off in December 2022 and guests were evacuated into the cold streets in the night, etc.All these happened and there were little or no apologies from management, and there were no efforts to make good the situations. If you want a relatively cheap stay, in a central location, Hotel Indigo Leicester Square is for you. But please be prepared for "inconveniences" and unapologetic staff.Oh, by the way, with the flooded toilet and with feces floating in the water, a staff member refused to enter the room and help us retrieve our belongings. "This is not part of my job", he said.
