Avoid this place for your safety and sanity!! I have just been given a partial refund (should have been whole) as I had the room next to reception and if it wasn't people talking loudly outside the room, it was a bloke kicking off at 3.30am so much so that police had to be called!!The en suite is just a toilet with a wet room shower - it's tiny, damp, smelly and filthy. There was no outside window - the window led onto an internal corridor! You leave your massive key on the reception desk each time you exit, right in front of the door, which despite being in the middle of Bow in East London, not the safest of areas (where is in London?!), I found the door to be constantly on the latch and reception unmanned!!This place is cheap for a reason - if you want a safe and uninterrupted nights sleep, spend a bit extra for your safety and sanity!!

Miserable place. Paper thin walls, I could hear the couple next door chatting and then snoring later on. Just a weak laugh key to lock the room with, whole place felt very sketchy and unsafe. See pics for the state of the place. …

From the outside this doesn’t appear to be a great place but once you’re inside things get better. ||||The upstairs area is where the fun is, especially on the monthly swinger nights. …

Not far from Stratford Westfield centre and transport and amenities. The room itself was ok and adequate for the two nights as we hardly stayed in. Just be wary that you won’t expect all the hotel amenities and luxury’s . Breakfast was very mediocre. I’ll be honest and say it won’t be my first choice if I was stuck.

It's cheap, so keep your expectations to reflect this. But for the price, especially last minute, we can't complain. Clean bedding, friendly staff. perfect for our needs, a place to crash after gig. The staff were really. Friendly and provided some duck tape for my friends shoe. We even had our own ant.

I’ll be totally honest, im not usually one to complain…£65 we payed for one night and it was absolutely awfulWe travelled quite a while for this hotel as it seemed nice on the photosthe photos was not at all what the hotel was.Our room was awfulWalls were ripped and teared, lots of liquids over the walls of god knows what!Carpet was absolutely filthy. Both beds we’re on wooden planksThat’s not all my other half brung all his equipment for a shower thinking there would be privacyabsolutely not he refused to shower due to bathroom itselfI asked if we could swop rooms he told us no you got what your given.Beds were a little comfy but definitely not worth £65 at all. Even more the cab we payed to get thereI don’t recommend this hotel at all.

Filthy furniture and carpet that you would never want your bare skin touching otherwise you feel like you would itch and get a rash. As you walk along, you get this nasty, pungent smell. It's like you are in a batcave. The staff are unwelcoming. The first staff member gave me a curfew to return to the hotel by. I told him I already paid till a certain time. He wanted me to return by 3am or 3:30am. Yet still they advertise 24hr front desk. So it is false advertising. When I came in 2:58am, the staff was sleeping on the sofa in reception and told me to lock the door behind me. I didnt understand their peculiar lock on the first time and he behaved disgruntled with me again, as though he thinks I am his son or someone he knows in his personal life. He gets up to lock the door with a hint of attitude. I go to the bedroom to sleep and feel something poke me when I roll. There are brown particles on the bed of some type of food which i flick off, one by one. The shower downstairs is so small you cannot even manouvre to change your clothes. The toilet area is small and you feel like you are just surrounded by germs. No interesting art, fancy designs, tiles, or aesthetic appeal. Nothing is fancy or beautiful to make you feel the feel of a hotel in this wicked dungeon. The entire place and vibe is just the worst of the worst. It is literally a last resort if you have no other option and want to rest your head down. But personally, I would rather sit and sleep outside than go back to this disgusting place. I wish I could give 0 stars. Or -1 to -10. I would give it a -10. By morning, a new staff member was reminding me to check out. He also had a negative attitude. It's like they are all mad with themselves inside there. When I checked out I just gave him the keys, no eye contact, and a thumbs up, because quite simply City View Hotel is the NHOAT. Nastiest Hotel of All Time. A trip to London Hell.

A pungent smellingy dungeon. Think of yourself as batman entering a batcave. Unwelcoming staff who seem disgruntled and spread their negative vibes to you in every simple response. They advertise 24hr check in but try giving you a curfew to return to the hotel by a certain time, so it is false advertising. The staff member behaved disgruntled with me to lock the door after I came in because I didnt grasp how their weird lock worked the first time using it. The carpet and furniture is filthy. I try not to let my skin touch it otherwise I may itch. The shower area is so small that you do not have room to change comfortably. When I went to lay on the bed and rolled something poked me, when I checked there were brown particles of some type of food on the bed that i had to flick off bit by bit. It's just the worst of the worst. Literally a last resort if you have no other option but just need to rest your head down. The NHOAT. Nastiest Hotel of All Time.
