I'm honestly not sure how this hotel got 4 stars, I'd give it 2 max. First of all, the rooms are really small, definitely not suitable for two people. I booked the premium queen, which for my understanding should have been the bigger one of the options, but it is honestly barely enough for one person. We had one trolley and two small backpacks, but hardly any space to store our stuff. I made sure we booked a room with a window, but the window didn't open, so it felt a bit pointless.Secondly, our bedsheets were not replaced during our entire 5 days stay. Make up marks on the pillow from my first night sleep were still there after 5 days, the bedsheets were simply tucked back in as if they were replaced. Makes you question whether they even change them between guests.Additionally, only one elevator was operating for the entire 7 floors, sometimes we had to wait for over 5 minutes to use it. I read in past reviews that this issue is ongoing since April this year, in my opinion having a broken elevator for over 6 months is ridiculous. No fridge in the room, no proper closet, no kettle for boiling water (there was a Nespresso machine but the coffee capsules were refilled only occasionally). With that being said, the shower was overall nice. The location is nice (close to the tube and some central bus stations) and the service was okay.Personally I'd prefer to pay a bit extra and sleep elsewhere next time.

Nice hotel with conveniences. The rooms are small, it's worth it to pay for a deluxe Queen to have a room with a window & a little more space. I stayed in a deluxe room and felt it was enough space for one person. My friend had a regular room with no window & she felt cramped. The downstairs lobby has a restaurant with convenient eats and good drinks. The staff were very friendly and quite helpful. The area the hotel is located in does not look appealing but I felt safe in the area and even walked around to get to meet up locations with friends. I did have issues getting a bolt (Uber) to pick me up from the hotel. I am unsure why but I would usually have to walk a few blocks down to a different hotel then order a Bolt from there. The hotel does not have an on-site fitness center but you can get a discounted pass to a gym in walking distance of the hotel. There is also a small grocery store & Starbucks in walking distance. This hotel has another establishment in London City so I would suggest staying there if you are vacationing but this is a good option for something budget friendly. Also, the neighboring area is also known for "Jack the Ripper" so you will run into many group walking tours in the area & that may be a plus for some true crime fans.

This was my first stay at a Yotel and I wasn't sure what to expect, but it exceeded my expectations in every way. First, it was spotlessly clean. Second, the towels were thick and the comforter was fluffy and warm - touches that make a difference in comfort. Third, the staff here is unbelievably kind - they act more like personal hosts than staff. The night manager Mansour went out of his way for my colleagues and I, even making us hot cocoa after a long day. And John seemed genuinely concerned that we get a good breakfast. I appreciated them so much. Yes the rooms are small pods, but the beds are comfortable and the water pressure and heat are good (not always the case in Europe). I will definitely stay here again next time I travel for work. Highly recommend!

Arriving quite late, there was still staff around to welcome us. They were very helpful with checking us in and offered us a glass of refreshing water. The subterranean rooms are great if you don't wanna mess around with blinds and curtains, the only downside is the lack of 'fresh' air, but the AC was adequate enough. We didn't get breakfast there, but from what we saw, it's a nice spread of things.

Great location for Victoria Park as we visited for the All Points East festival. Also very close to the tube station so easy to get around London. Fab food places within walking distance. The check in and out was really easy and can all be done on a tablet. The place was and smelled really clean. The rooms are basic and small, but had everything we needed and the tv was big and the room had helpful plugs above the bed. Really convenient and good value, so we’d use YOTEL again

My room was really clean, as was the hotel itself. It's placed downtown close to the underground, so there's easy access to the rest of london. Breakfast was amazing, and the staff was very friendly and helpful with local ideas.

Small room, and no windows, but I didn't feel that bad squeeze as they have lot of storage space you can use. Also had shampoo, conditioner, and body soap differently, which was good. Also had hairdryer. Staff were super friendly and had good cleaning as well. Location is not good, but it is close to the station that uses Centre line which is quite useful for tourists. It is good to use with family and definitely not with your friends as there are less privacy

We stayed at the YOTEL Hotel London Shoreditch and were very satisfied overall. The rooms are indeed very small but perfectly sufficient and, most importantly, extremely clean. The service was excellent – our booking through Expedia couldn’t be found initially, but the friendly lady at the reception sorted it out quickly and without any issues. One minor downside is the location right next to the train tracks – we could hear the trains at night, which might be bothersome for light sleepers. However, the hotel is conveniently located near the Central Line, making it easy to explore London by tube. All in all, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend the hotel!

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for four nights during our visit to London and had a wonderful experience. We booked a compact queen room and were pleased with the accommodations. The room was adequately sized, and the bathroom was impressively spacious. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and we found the prices for food and drinks to be reasonable, aligning with typical London rates. Our room was impeccably clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.Additionally, the hotel's location is a major plus. With the Bethnal Green tube line and bus stops just a 3-4 minute walk away, commuting around London was incredibly convenient
