Lovely old hotel. High ceilings. Well maintained and comfortable. I was given a huge bedroom on the ground floor with a massive flat screen TV and a modern en suite shower room and WC. Continental breakfast was very good quality. The service is both polite and efficient.I thoroughly recommend this hotel.Philip Newman

Hotel in great location. Stayed in a double room with ensuite. Nice room, good size, recently refurbished to a good standard. Firm but comfortable bed, with good choice of pillows. It was possible to open the window wide for ventilation, which makes a nice change to some other hotels. Room was on ground floor behind reception. Only thing to note is that there can be some noise from people moving through the entrance door and reception, but this wasn't a problem between 11pm-6am. All in all, great room for the price!

The stay at arran House Hotel was ok. The room was simple and could use some maintenance. We stayed in a room with our own bathroom. It was small, smelled a bit funny but was satisfactory. we could hear our neighbours coming home at night or when they went to the bathroom. Not all rooms have their toilet inside the room, there are shared bathrooms. You could hear people walk on the halls or doors closing. Al in all the stay in arran was satisfactory. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Reception was open 24 hours a day. The breakfast was simple

Lovely place to stay. Close to Euston station, Oxford Street and lots of museums in the area. Staff were all friendly and went above and beyond to help us. Able to leave luggage after checkout while we went and explored Spitalfields market. Would stay here again.

The room was clean and reasonably well decorated. There were a few old pieces of furniture that needed replacing and the bathroom wasn’t great. The main double bed was uncomfortable but there was a single bed so I changed beds and it was much better. Would be good to have a drinking water glass and wine glasses in the room and more plug sockets. Also if you provide an iron then an ironing board would be good. Breakfast was ok, maybe bread rolls and salami would be good but was ok.

Simple hotel in a nice old building. Shared bathroom and shower that are really neat. It could use some hooks for clothing. Rooms are fine. It was rather warm outside, and there was no airco in the hotel. No problem for us, but I can imagine some may not sleep that good. Breakfast was great. The breakfast room can use a bit of a touch-up, but we didn't mind. We had a great stay for 3 nights. Great place for the money! And let's be honest, how much time do you spend inside of your hotel when in London 😉
