Rooms so hot with no air conditioning led to a miserable experience. Impossible to sleep so couldn’t wait to leave.. Room size and furnishings were ok and would have been fine, but rooms are so hot even with the noisy cheap portable fan at fall pelt all night. Would avoid unless it’s winter.

The room was nice and the hotel in a great location. We upgraded from a standard room and it is well worth it.The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size but it could do with a deep clean from housekeeping. The jets in the bath were grubby and the wooden floor dusty.Overall this was a good room, we slept like logs, check in and out was easy.We would stay here again.

I flew in from AUS and booked here for three nights to enjoy London while getting over my jetlag. I stayed on the second floor overlooking the street. Great room though was a double. Very clean and a nice shower. …

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME BOOKING HERE!Booking all confirmed - on arrival they asked who we booked with? Irrelevant surely as we had booked, was confirmed and had nothing to say other wise.5 minutes later they told us the hotel was shut.. but they we allowing other guests in.Turns out they had hiked the prices up and our booking had obviously gone to the higher paying customer. They then tried to get us to book with their sister company at over double the price. For a hotel that's shut for a year - strange they're still taking bookings at three/four times the price of what we paid.2 1/2 hours travelling to find we have no hotel.Disgusting owner and hotel. Please don't risk your trip away by booking here.

You get what you pay for, a good if not salubrious hotel in the middle of London. The hotel and rooms are clean, the beds are ok and the tube stations (Notting hill gate the nearest) are only a five minute walk away. It’s a bit tatty and could do with a refresh but a good place to hang your hat if you are out sight seeing all day.

Was really worried about staying here due to reading the other reviews. However really enjoyed out stay. When we arrived we allocated a room in the basement which we asked to change which we were able to stay on the 1st floor.  …

**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️****Charming Stay at New Linden Hotel!**We had an absolutely delightful stay at the New Linden Hotel in London. Nestled in a cute neighborhood with great proximity to Hyde Park, it was the perfect location for our family vacation. The easy access to all the best tourist sites made our trip incredibly convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Our family room was comfortable and well-appointed, and we especially loved the view from our window—it felt like a scene straight out of Mary Poppins! If you're looking for a cozy, welcoming place to stay in London with a bit of whimsy and a lot of charm, we highly recommend the New Linden Hotel. We can't wait to come back!

This was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had. The bathrooms were absolutely filthy, covered in mold, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The rooms were in the same unkempt, disgusting state. To make matters worse, the cleaning lady was incredibly rude, and despite complaining for three days straight, nothing was done about it. The bedsheets were dirty, the pillows reeked, and the entire place felt like a health hazard. This was a total nightmare, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Unbelievable!

Unfortunately my partner and I were extremely disappointed by our stay. The reception staff were rude when we arrived and were preoccupied by something on their phone. The room was very small and the walls far too thin, we could hear the alarm of the person in the next room in the morning. When we wanted to check out, nobody was at the reception desk for me to speak to about our experience the night before. It is a shame as the hotel has brilliant potential but clearly has poor management and staff.
