Very pleased with this hotel. Great location (just 20 minutes walk from Paddington Station and about 5-10 minutes walk from Queensway Underground station). Clean and well kept. Helpful staff. Well priced breakfast. …

I had a fantastic two night stay at the Pembridge Palace Hotel. I chose it based on other positive reviews but also because of its location just a short walk from two tube stations on the central line.  …

My friends and I had a lovely experience in this hotel. The staff in reception and the porters were so professional friendly and helpful. The bedrooms although a little small were very clean , extremely comfortable beds and complimentary bottled water. The breakfast was excellent value with a good selection of fruit, cereal and freshly prepared cooked breakfast.

I booked the room with the city view. My family checked in at around 2PM. The lobby is nice with sofa for the rest. The reception manager told that our room was not ready yet. So we only could leave our 3 pieces of luggage in the hotel. We did it and left for the city tour. After we finished the dinner and returned back at 10PM, we were assigned to the room in the basement with a small window next to the stair connected to the street, instead of the room with the city view (which we booked). Also, the bed type changed from 1 double + 1 single bed to 3 single beds. After we complain it to the reception person, he told us that he is just a security person (for late check-in service only) , instead of the hotel manager. He cannot answer my question. Also, he told us that the hotel has the right to change the room type without the prior notice if needed. We felt exhausted to deal such condition at 10PM time. So we agreed and checked in the room. In the end, I feel the hotel booking seem not well organized or maybe even over booking. I suggest it's better to wait for room confirmation when you check in. Otherwise, the room type seems not guaranteed. Or if you return late, it turns into the late check-in condition.

The room was in the basement. There were no windows obviously. It smelled and felt damp. It was filthy, especially the bathroom with mold and black dirt. Any cleaning was clearly only superficial. …

Had a 3 night stay here. Although the room was small, it was cleaned every day, as well as fresh towels and complimentary bottled water, tea & coffee all re-stocked.In a nice quiet location with some good shops, bars restaurants and the tube station approx 5-10 mins walk. The staff were all so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice.Well worth the money.

We loved this hotel. it was suitable for us in terms of value for money. We had a small, but fully equipped room. The staff is kind and helpful. The breakfast is great. The only small negative is that approx. It's 10 minutes to the subway, but it wasn't a problem for us. I highly recommend this hotel.

I'm really glad I didn't read the reviews before booking! I took my dad to London for the weekend and I booked this hotel as a budget option so didn't have overly high expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised. …

I'm surprised to see the bad reviews. I think you just have to know what you're booking before you go. Obviously it's not the Ritz! The rooms are on the small side. …

Booked a deluxe double room for a work trip. Perfect location, close to Gulliam Coffee, Hyde Park and the central line. The lobby appears to have been recently renovated and very swish. Service was great at all times. I got in at about 11.30pm (flight delays) and had no issues, but I was advised by the concierge that I needed to contact the hotel in future if I was checking in after 11pm.Rooms are a tad dated but perfectly amenable, the small touches were appreciated like the USB charging lamps. However I found I couldn’t use the desk in the room (early AM work calls) without shifting it 2 metres across due to size constraints. In summary, for what you pay it’s a perfectly good location and just what I needed for a week in London for work.
