Yes it’s expensive! Yes, some of the decor is slightly dated. But wow the experience is fantastic. The food offerings cannot be faulted. Brilliant River restaurant and the American Lounge is fantastic in atmosphere and offerings. …

I had an absolutely delightful stay at The Savoy Hotel on the Strand last night. From the moment I arrived, I was treated like royalty. The entrance alone, with its famous Art Deco design and opulent lobby, set the tone for what was an incredible experience. The service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive and professional at every turn.My room, styled in a mix of Edwardian and Art Deco, was luxurious and comfortable with a stunning view of the Thames. The amenities were first-class, and the marble bathroom was a particular highlight with its premium toiletries and deep soaking tub.I also had dinner at the Savoy Grill, and the meal was exquisite. It’s easy to see why this Gordon Ramsay restaurant is so well-regarded. Later in the evening, I enjoyed a drink at the American Bar, which truly lives up to its reputation as one of the best cocktail bars in the world.Overall, The Savoy is a perfect blend of history and modern luxury. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s an experience. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting London.

Didn't stay at the hotel but had a few drinks at the bar after a show. It's a lovely bar area, good ambience, and there was a piano player. The cocktails were enjoyable and our waiter was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our fairly short visit!

Superb stay, as always, this time booked the lovely suite with it's own little balcony which affords gorgeous views over the Thames and is a delight, even in October's gloomy weather, to sit on during the evening with a glass or two plus …

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Savoy Gordon Ramsay Restaurant. The service was impeccable, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my father, who is in a wheelchair. Their attention to detail and kindness made us feel so welcome and valued. We’ll definitely be returning. Thank you again for everything, Georgina Grivas

We wanted to have afternoon tea at the Savoy but unfortunately, they were fully booked since we didn’t make a reservation. We just wanted to try our luck! I have to say, the place is absolutely stunning inside. Since it was a bit too cold that day, we decided to head to the bar, where we sat down for some tea and cookies. It was a cozy alternative, but I highly recommend booking in advance if you’re set on experiencing the full afternoon tea at the Savoy. When I tried to book it, it was already too late for us. We’re definitely looking forward to staying there on our next trip. The service was amazing, and the whole atmosphere was so relaxing. If you can, I highly recommend staying at the Savoy or at least reserving a spot for afternoon tea well ahead of time!

We visited the River Restaurant for lunch. The service and food were excellent. Daunting wine list but some good quality at an expected price if you spend the time. Very helpful staff all around the hotel getting us to the restaurant in a wheelchair. Fixed price lunch is good value too.
