We have just got back from a fantastic few days away at The Long Range. We have stayed at many B&Bs over the years, but this is by far the best. …

The b&b has a stunning view across the Otter Valley from the back bedrooms, and Brian was a very friendly host. The cooked breakfast was very tasty and the free parking in front of the building was welcome. …

Very comfortable stay at this lovely hotel. Room was spotlessly clean and nothing seemed too much trouble. It is obvious that Brian and Lorraine the hosts work very hard for their guests. …

Stayed here for my mum’s 80th. Brian, the proprietor, was the perfect host and made us all feel very welcome. We were all so touched with the little extra surprises that he delivered on the day of my mum’s birthday. Overall one of the best BnBs I’ve ever stayed in.

Very quiet location, about 10 to 15 minute walk from Budleigh Salterton. Very limited eateries, on Sundays the only place open is the Indian restaurant (Very nice). The hotel breakfast was very nice, unfortunately they do not do evening meals. There is a small bar selling bottled beers and spirits, the hotel was very quite and the bar was not used extensively. The hotel was very clean, the bedroom was also, the TV was not smart or high definition and quite small. The devan bed could do with updating. The hosts Brian and Lorraine were very welcoming.
