Despite seeing some very negative recent reviews, my friends and I decided to take a chance on this place anyway. It sounds like they've recently taken over the place so some leeway is needed for them to get on their feet. …

Worst hotel we have stayed in! There was no welcome on the mat at all, when we walked in the girl didn't even look up at us or seem interested at all, showed us to our room. …

We were recommended to try Home Farm restaurant by our accommodation at Rose Farm. I would highly rate the chef. Great tasting food, reasonably priced for the quality offered. …

So this is going to be a bit strange review.. I booked here for new years eve.. We arrived and was greeted by Craig who was so warm and welcoming and explained that had taken over between Xmas and New year now that is amazing. So we went to our room and had booked into the restaurant..So we go down to eat and got introduced to the old owner Richard who was doing a working handover which is nice to help Craig settle in, but I think going to a little room to look at the menu then to restaurant was a bit strange and didn't like it, the menu consisted mostly of Thai food which was very nice but few English meals was weird especially as local fish harbour down the road.Anyway the rooms were definitely not up to standard the rooms were dusty which few months of dust. But I would like to say that Graig and his wife are taking over and excepted feedback to help with improving in areas.. We have said that we will definitely be going back to support Craig and Claire as big adventure and taking over at the most difficult time of the year and I like to congratulate them for the future..Craig cooked the breakfast which was good..This is set in Wilmington on the old A30 set just off the road.. So we will be definitely going back and I would recommend because was lovely place and friendly atmosphereThank you Craig for your hospitality and all the best for your future with your family in your new adventure. Is closed for January to do work but reopening in February

The owner responded to my wife the comments were completely untrue ,we were not rude to the staff when we arrived and at first she said she did not have a booking in my name ,I had to show the confirmation and she said I had booked a single room and the doubles were not made up !!When the owner arrived after 1 hour he looked at us and said what do you want ??I will say that the evening meal was perfect. The rooms are tired and old ,as shown in my pics.
