Wonderful owners, rooms are clean and tidy. Only downside is you'll have to climb the stairs for the family room. It's about 10 mins from centre and just a few mins away from closest station.Definitely recommend.

As long as you don't need an elevator, you cannot do better than the Oakcliffe. Short walk from the train station (uphill to be sure, but not bad, and returning to the station is SO easy). Then easy to walk to the Cathedral and the Quayside. Warm welcome, clean room (we had en suite). Breakfast was very good, with a positive social air.

Oakcliffe was the perfect spot to start our month-long trip to the UK. The location is close to the train station (about a 5-min walk up the hill) and everything was extremely accommodating. …
