Very basic hotel. Staff are very good and helpful. The meals were as good if not better than a lot of other places I have stayed. I went with a coach party and would not hesitate to go back there again. Hotel is old but full of charm. Well done all..

This is a 2 star hotel. The room was basic but clean with tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was good (the shower was too low to use) but it was clean. The beds were comfortable.  …

The hotel is tired and needs updating BUT 1.the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful - no request was too much for them - can't praise them enough. 2. The rooms were cleaned daily, beds made and towels changed. 3. Food was served quickly, limited choices but it was a good enough selection, it was hot (unless it was a cold dish) and was generally very good.

Travelled with my sister-in-law on my first ever coach trip and I wasn't sure what to expect. ||The hotel was spotlessly clean and staff so friendly and helpful. Great choice at mealtimes with everything brought to the table.  …

Extremely disappointed with the cleanliness. My room was awful, mattresses badly stained, pillows thin, blankets old and in a very poor state. Behind the headboard was a build up of dust and paper from a sanitary towel.Windows were mouldy and running with water, which exacerbated my COPD.The room was cold, as heating was as turned off.I took photos as evidence, I emailed a complaint, but it hasn’t been acknowledged.
