It was a little dissapointing, mainly down to check in problems and the room not being clean enough. We were quite high up in the building, no safety restricters on the windows, which was surprising considering its a hotel, light bulbs missing or flickering in the stairwell. The sheets and bed throws were a little worn and stained. The bathroom definitely wasn't clean enough. They put us in a room, then knocked on our door a few minutes later and asked if we wanted an upgrade, we said yes, then they tried to give us a much smaller room with a smaller bed. The lady was then rude to us when we said we would prefer to keep the room we booked. The breakfast was okay, The staff at breakfast were lovely. The location is great for a trip to Plymouth. We booked through air b and b, it's listed as a 4 star boutique hotel. It definitely isn't, I would say its a 3 star. The cleaning definitely needs to be sorted out.

Promotes itself as a four star hotel which is why we chose it, it was grubby, the toilet roll was plonked on top of towel rail and tv was intermittent. …

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast and i felt comfortable as a solo female traveler. Small single room but ideal for my one night stay, it was great to have the option to book a single as other hotels only offered doubles.|Also very handy for the city centre, I would definitely stay again.
