Had a love meal as always. Kyle looked after us really well, made sure everyone and everything was ok, which it was. We have been here a few times now and it never disappoints. Would highly recommend to all our family and friends. I am keeping writing as I have to use a minimum of 200 characters. Done.

Came for a birthday carvery, choice of meats is fab, and selection of veg on offer is great too. Not seen dumplings on a carvery before, but these were an additional tasty choice. We brought our own cake and it was no problem for the staff to keep this until we needed it, even lit the candles. All in all highly recommend.

Wow! This is the most amazing carvery ever! We felt as if we needed a treat so we ordered a roast and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff are so kind, welcoming and friendly. We can't recommend it enough. Thank you for looking after us so well!

Straight forward to book, but a 10 minute wait on arrival. Dropped off at table no cutlery, asked twice, in the end found on another table. We had. a 14 month with is and nothing was said about getting her a plate or a highchair. There must have been 75 people in the room we were in with no windows, a very hot day so we were all fanning ourselves with menus. The meal itself. Vegetables undercooked, potatoes hard and the smallest slithers of meats. All in all will not be going back and i only live nearby. Its all about quantity rather than quality, as long as you get the punters through the doors. Was not enough staff and they were miserable, who wouldnt be with no ventilation. The bar maid who served us was on her phone so we had to interrupt her. Not a nice experience and for over £50 of our hard earned money. Never again

We went for an evening meal with grandchildren (youngest was 10). Booked a table for 6 in advance but maybe shouldn't have bothered. Table wasn't ready and was then shown to a table for 5. An extra chair was found and we squeezed in. All but the vegetarian went for the carvery. Good selection of meats and all were well cooked. Good selection of veg all suffering from exposure to heat-lamps, but they were edible. Roast and mashed potato was awful. The vegetarian option was cooked and placed under the lights, we had been told that they would tell us when it was brought out but it had been left under the lights for some time. Desserts were fine and the waitress was attentive and keen to rectify mistakes. Overall the meal was good value for money and I would go back. If you are a potato lover, you may want to find somewhere else!

Staff were great. Such a warming welcome. The food was really good for the price. I’ve paid more for a burger and left still hungry at other restaurants. But I left bloated here. Money well spent. The staff were very attentive and friendly. It was very busy but well worth it.

Carvery was easy but a bit tasteless and gravy running really low. Beef was a bit fatty and chewy. Turkey was good. Chef lad was very nice. Waitress (Frankie) was lovely really friendly. Chocolate pancakes and apple pie were both tasty. However pretty good value all told. Will come again.

Could not fault all the front of house staff who welcomed us into the restaurant for quiz night. We had incredible service from both Caryn and Alex at the bar! We absolutely praise the service from front of house staff Frankie and Maisie who were impeccable with the customers and also made sure we had everything we needed with our meals/drinks/allergies etc.. a very welcoming and family accommodating restaurant, especially with my very difficult children, really recommend eating here or just coming for a drink as the atmosphere is brilliant will be visiting again! :)

We stood waiting for 10 minutes as there were no serving staff. The meat portions were small, and the beef offered was the scrag end. But overall the food was good, and a new piece of beef was tender. A good value meal.
