Been coming here for the last 4 years for a long weekend but it’s never long enough. The peacefulness and tranquility makes you want to stay forever. Owner is fantastic and very helpful. The on site store is wonderful with most things you need plus there’s a beautiful little walk (5minutes) to the local pub. Perfect

Perfect. Lovely spot. Manager and family/staff fantastic. Facilities met our needs easily. Lots of really lovely, scenic, peaceful walks on the doorstep. The site shop is a really useful bonus, offering more than the essentials, well priced. Fresh baked goods daily, perfect for camping holiday, and fresh local asparagus.

Great little stopover, very quiet, and a lovely walk through the back of the site to the local church and to the pub. The pub was delightful, good food, and took around five minutes to walk to. There’s a nice shop on site which has lots of different things, from fresh bread, fruit, and well stocked selection of food. We found the site very quiet, there are a huge number of walks in this area, include the walk to Stratford upon Avon along the canal, although that was a bit too far for us. Would definitely come back, it’s such a lovely area to explore. You need a hose for the grey waste, as it’s set back slightly off the road.

We have just come back from a 4 night break in one of their lovely caravans. And if we could give them more than 5 stars we would.Caravan was spotless with everything we needed. All we had to take was our bed linen.Small well stocked little shop there .With fresh fruit, veg bread cakes etc..A very peaceful site so if you are looking for pools and club houses , not the place for you .But a short walk to Anston Cantlow brings you to the local pub and also the village club house. We only visited the pub ,but made very welcome. Not far out of Stratford upon Avon so in a good position for getting there for a visit. And also many other places .For me the best part.of staying there was the swans , ducks chickens that wonder round freely.Would we go back again ?? For us it's a definite yes. !!!!

Great caravan and campsite something for everyone in a tranquil setting. Great little shop and coffee n pastry too. Close to Alcester which has great shops for a small town, and cafes to keep you fed and watered. The area has lots of pubs offering great pubs to eat quality food within 20 minutes driving. Walking distance from the caravan site is a great social club pub that puts lots of events on along with a historic pub that offers formal dining in a very old listed building. Not far from wake boarding activity that has inflatable fun for kids n adults with wet suits and helmets.Loads of fishing sites, walks and countryside which gives the site something for everyone in a welcoming friendly countryside retreat.

Island Meadow was one of the best sites we have stayed on in our VW campervan. It was central to stratford upon Avon, Warwick, Alcestor and Henley. There was a lovely pub and club within 5min walk through the trees and church yard. The site was tranquil, clean and everything you need with the additional treat of a shop and cafe where we enjoyed coffee and breakfast with fresh chicken or duck eggs. The bakewell tart was the nicest I have eaten. Katherine was brilliant so accommodating and clearly passionate about her family site. Would love to return

The site is privately owned and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. The shop/cafe has excellent coffee and serves a great breakfast. ||The shower block is standard and does the job well. There are laundry and dishwashing areas. …
