A real gem of a site. Loads of space, well maintained, amazing views with plenty of toilets and water points. Lots of footpaths accessible from the site and two pubs within an easy walk. Fires allowed off the ground too, which was greatLots of wildlife and birds of prey can be seen from site and the hedgerows bursting with blackberries and sloes while we were there.Farm shop about half a mile from site. Gas and firewood availabile from the agricultural suppliers and the site entrance.Only disappointment was the fishing. Despite trying a wide range of techniques, hook sizes, baits, swims and pegs I didn't get as much as a nibble. Didn't see any other catches either.

Great rural site, set on sloping grassland around a fishing lake. Most of the pitches seem to be pretty level from what I could see.Showers, toilets , washing up facilities all good.Owner was very friendly and welcoming; she's got plans to open a shop and cafe in the not too distant future.£20 for a non electric pitch is a great price these days. There were plenty with EHU, but I didn't ask how much they were.Excellent bistro pub a mile up the road (The Falcon)
