Wow! What a fantastic place to spend a few days. Bijou Malt House is a gorgeous, self-contained one bedroom cottage. It comprises a comfortable bedroom with kitchen/breakfast room and an en-suite shower room. It had everything we needed for a perfect mini-break. The main room is actually larger than many hotel rooms and is amazingly well equipped.Susie and Roger were very welcoming and generous hosts but unless we needed anything, left us to our own devices. In the fridge, Susie had left us some freshly picked strawberries from their garden, milk, butter, jam, marmalade and sauces. Also in the kitchen, there was even salt & pepper, tea, coffee and olive oil. Every time we thought “we should have brought…”, a quick glance around and we found whatever it was that we needed; corkscrew, charger, umbrellas, bin-bags, playing cards … we wanted for nothing.Everything works, is spotlessly clean and is in great condition. The weather was fantastic so we spent much of our time chatting and relaxing on the patio. However, there is also a summer house with views over meadows, its own patio, settees, games, books and stereo. Even if the weather had been terrible we’d have been very cozy and had plenty to do.

So private, comfortable bed and pillows, I cant emphasise just how spotlessly clean {immaculate}the hosts are so kind and leave lovely little extras they don't have to. We cant recommend highly enough and will definitely stay again. Beautiful village and a lovely pub we had Sunday lunch. All in all we were very happy

Lovely, spotless, well appointed " efficiency " room. It's cozy and pretty. The kitchenette has everything you need for casual meals. The hosts asked if I wanted anything in particular and provided exactly what I requested. There is an extremely comfortable and attractive sun room a few steps from the bulding with a lovely selection of audio equipment and music. It has windows and a patio that overlook a bucolic scene. The hosts are a delight!

Everything was absolutely perfect. The name “bijoux” means something cute and precious and that’s exactly what this little cottage is. Featuring a very comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen with a few complementary items , modern slick bathroom, quiet, all brand new and spotless clean! To frame it all, a very special warm stress free welcome from a real gentleman and his lady. The setting is beautiful too, British countryside at its finest, featuring an array of places to see, and of course at a short drive from W.Shakespeare’s birth town. Highly recommended!
