What a find! A gem. We were so delighted to find that this stunning farmhouse b&b had a vacancy - we snapped it up. The old farmhouse is gorgeous and full of history. …

This was a really lovely place to stay. Cathy and Nick were so welcoming and gave lots of information about the farm and the animals. …

A proper, traditional farmhouse bed and breakfast, warmly hosted by Cathy. Comfortable and characterful, with a delicious traditional full English breakfast. Highly recommended and the perfect antidote to modern, grey, soulless, bland hotel chains.

We have recently returned from a 2 night stay in the Family Room at Shrewley Pools Farm and what a wonderful time we all had. We were greeted by Cathy in her absolutely stunning garden, that is worth the visit in itself. …

We could not have been more pleased and happy with our stay here. Our only regret was that we only were there for one night. The hosts were so warm and welcoming. The house was beautiful and full of history. …

Nice quiet coarse fishing lake. Well stocked. The only thing that lets it down, is that the pegs/ jettys are in desperate need of repair. Some are very wobbly and borderline dangerous . Hence not used by a lot of anglers, including me. Shame. Spoils an otherwise lovely place.28/04/2023Great days fishing today. Caught 122lbs in total. Including a 19lb beauty.

Last weekend a group of 6 of us joined Cathy, her husband and their fabulous pets on their farm for the weekend. We were attending a wedding on the Saturday and arrived late from London on Friday. …

Lovely fishing, pool is well stocked and fish on the whole appear to be happy, healthy and hungry! Pegs well laid out and stable (concrete slabs made up the peg I fished from. Parking fairly close to the pool. Day ticket when I went (May 2020) was just £9 collected from the bank by the baylif..Onsite just a single.flushing toilet, basic but functional, no loo roll when we went so may be worth taking your own, just in case.
