There's so many lovely things I could say about this place, but I'd really like to start with the staff. Absolutely fantastic team who were so friendly and hardworking, we knew from the second we got there that this would be something special ❤️The room was beautiful (we stayed in Daisy) large, bright and spotless. Some nifty little bits made it extra special like motion activated floor spots so there was no falling over on the way to the bathroom, massive TV, coffee machine and electric windows to name but a few.The bar was super cosy with the log fires and a terrific atmosphere. Added bonus of a fantastic quiz on every other Sunday evening (monies go to charity). We stayed on bed/breakfast basis and would happily do so again as the breakfast is wonderful! There's a wide selection to choose from and is all local produce (I believe) and freshly cooked to order. Evening meals were of equal quality but booking is a must as it gets so busy.If I was pushed to be picky, there were a couple of things that were irksome - car park is large but has small spaces so if it's busy and your car has the steering of a barge it's quite tricky to park. The blinds in our room kept out no light at all. Complementary eye masks are provided but if you're not used to wearing them could be uncomfortable. Gorgeous main meals but frozen chips 😣 And Inches cider!!!🤢 Luckily enough, the Pearson's bottles were very nice 😁Loads to do in the surrounding area, very central for local attractions.I would not hesitate to come back! One of the nicest mini breaks we've had. Highly recommend 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We had a lovely 5 day stay at the Red Lion Inn from which we visited the Cottswolds area. Everything was very clean. Breakfast with menu choice was very good, nice presentation. …

We had a very nice weekday lunch. Didn't book a table in advance for five of us but that wasn't a problem. The service was attentive and the food delicious. Plenty of space in the large carpark, then it is a bit of a maze from there...into the main building, down the steps, passing the staircase to the rooms...and you get into the welcoming restaurant. The Red Lion is one of my regular places when in the area.

Just had a 3 night stay at this lovely Inn. The staff were wonderful, helpful chatty and very friendly. The breakfast was fabulous with great choice and evening meals were just as good. The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with Molton brown products, coffee machine, water and homemade shortbread. Location was great and would definitely go back and stay

The Red Lion was perfect! Me and my family stayed in the Rosie room which was cosy, bright and comfortable. The added touches were great including a coffee machine, heated towel rack and a radio playing on our arrival. …

Quaint old building with exposed stone and beams in centre of village. The lovely friendly staff took time to chat and made us feel very welcome.|Food was really good so went back later in the week. Can recommend the lamb! Nice outdoor area and dog friendly inside too. Large car park at side of restaurant.

Lovely place! Professional, friendly and helpful staff. We’ve had breakfasts and a dinner over our stay - it was fresh, delicious and lovely presented. Nothing as a big deal for our hosts - Lisa was exceptional though! Thank you, we are planning our trip back! We felt like being at home :)
