Only went for an evening meal. Excellent venue, very attractive inside and out. Food was super quality and plentiful. Good Gluten free range for me which is a rarely found in eating establishments. Prices were also good. Staff were very efficient and kind. Great range of beers, cocktails and spirits. My only gripe is that dogs should not be allowed anywhere in restaurants because of the smell and noise they create and that the vast majority of dog owners haven't bothered to train their dogs. I understand that venue owners want to attract dogs owners so they do have separate area for dog owners to eat which is a good idea. I say, leave your stinky, noisy dogs at home. All in all its a fab place to eat, drink or have a party. Even though its a two hour drive I would definitely return.

Super Sunday lunch - Gemma our waitress was top class and looked after us so well. The food was nicely presented, and delicious, and the ambience and everything was excellent. The only complaint was that it was rather noisy, but it was full house, and to be expected. Will certainly return. Thanks to all the team.

I actually don't know about the rooms because we didn't stay, just went for food. But I can imagine that the rooms would be lovely judging by the place itself. The food was fabulous I had the crispy beef salad...yum. The staff were really lovely, polite & just the right amount of attention. It's a very pretty site with a beautiful terrace overlooking a small lake. Very dog friendly with a basket of dog toys, also child friendly. Definitely recommend a visit.

Came here for the first time for Sunday lunch. Overall service was impeccable. However the roast dinner was very , very over priced for the quality and quantity. 8 tiny rock hard small roast potatoes, small 10cm long of quarter of a carrot, teaspoon of red cabbage and green cabbage and Parsnip puree and a rather small piece of lamb which was more bone than meat. Very disappointed with cheese board too with a tiny cube of quince and 9 slivers of celery with not great quality cheese either. Been to other pubs in the chain, the Roe Deer (our local and visited 4 times for family occasions) and this has not much better on most of the occasions but the architect in Chester has been outstanding 3 times we have been there.

I have only ever visited to dine but it’s always been exceptional. Plenty of parking and grounds for outdoor dining and drinking. Inside there are plenty of dining areas and a large bar with a variety of drinks

We went to the Arrow mill for afternoon tea. I have to say it was absolutely amazing. My husband doesn't eat mayonnaise, so when they asked if there were any allergies on a txt, he told them, and they did him a separate plate of sandwiches without mayo. He was so chuffed. The whole experience was excellent. We will definitely be going again. Thank you, Arrow Mill
