Overall a good experience, the location, price and facilities are really good. The bed was excellent, really comfortable. Breakfast decent staff helpful and friendly. My only slight reservation is around noise - many of the doors close to my room were not dampened and so I was woken multiple times by the sound of doors closing loudly. The walls also seem to be a little thin, I could clearly hear people talking at normal level as they walked past down the corridor during the night.

I had an exceptional breakfast experience at the hotel thanks to Tracey. She was friendly and professional, ensuring I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal. Her warm and kind attitude made the experience truly pleasant. I’m very grateful for her excellent service and would definitely come back for such a wonderful treatment. Thank you, Tracey!

Stayed here for one night for an event at the NEC. Check in was under 5 minutes, staff were lovely and very helpful. Had a meal in the restaurant that evening and the pizza was amazing. The room was fantastic for what we booked, very spacious and clean. Breakfast was lovely, lots of options and the restaurant staff were very helpful and quick. Would definitely stay here again as it's a stone's throw from the NEC (there is a quicker walking route than Google Maps shows - the receptionist showed us a quicker way to get to the NEC by following a path alongside the hotel) Couldn't fault the hotel or the service. Would definitely stay here again!

Staff were friendly upon check-in. Two key cards provided.Loved the convenience of location to Birmingham NEC - it really is only five minutes walk, however once you are in (entrance via stairs, near the train station), be aware it could be 10-15 minutes extra walk to where your event is being held. NEC is so much bigger than I thought!!Paying for parking at the hotel is a bit of a shame (should be included in the price), but was similar in price to the other NEC car parks (£15 per day).Room was well decorated and clean - including an iron and ironing board as standard. The air con didn't seem to make any difference during the night though, so it was quite warm and stuffy (stayed in August). When we kept the windows open during the day, the room cooled down, but it smelt of aviation fuel, which wasn't great and I guess was due to the hotel's close proximity to the airport. This didn't affect our stay.Food was okay. Breakfast and dinner was as we expected for the type of hotel. My son and I loved the free table football!!Overall a pretty good stay and value for money.

Hotel is located in the middle of industrial units of the NEC the road near is busy and I could hear this from the room. Rooms are small but have everything you need and clean. Bar has food and drinks but whilst I did not try, it looked okay. If you are using as a stop for a flight next day you have to walk from the hotel to a lift that takes you up to the level of the monorail which you get on to take you to the airport. The walk through the industrial estate to and from the monorail might not be that good for people on their own so perhaps better to get an UBER instead.

Honestly one of the best hotels I have stayed at for work.On Day 1 of 6, Helen could not have been more helpful, she checked me in early and made sure my car parking was sorted outThe restaurant staff were truly spectacular, we were a tricky bunch (all had room allowances for work) and they helped out fully. The rooms were comfortable, and the house keeping team were so amenable to our requestsOn day 5 of 6 I had a massive migraine and so text the helpline number, the team could not have been more helpful ensuring I was adequately hydrated and in my opinion went above and beyond. The one negative was the beside lights only came on when the big light was on, but in the grand scheme of things this was a tiny issue.I would rate this hotel 9.5/10, well done to all, but special thanks to Helen who had a smile and a kind word every day I ran into her

In all honesty, I have always considered Ibis to be a low-cost budget hotel that I would not choose to stay at. However, I recently had to attend a meeting that was booked at this hotel, and I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised. It is important to refrain from making judgments without personal experience, as I discovered that the hotel was remarkably impressive.Upon my arrival, I inquired at the reception desk if any of the rooms offered a view of the airport, as I wanted to video chat with my four-year-old son who is fascinated by airplanes. Unfortunately, they did not have any rooms with the desired view. However, upon returning from dinner, I found a small airplane present waiting for my son, which I thought was an exceptionally thoughtful gesture. This experience has completely transformed my perception of the Ibis brand. I have gone from being reluctant to book with them to being more than happy to do so in the future. Ibis Style has successfully converted me into a loyal customer, and I commend them for their exceptional service.

Super pleasant stay, staff can’t do enough for you!Tracey at breakfast is so lovely, gives kids lots of time and attention. She gave the kids an activity book, pencils and a chocolate bar each which was so nice!Breakfast was lovely, rooms are pleasant.Ended up with free parking too due to a technical error, was no one’s fault but was a really lovely gesture and was not expecting it!Would absolutely stay here again!

Stayed at the ibis Styles Birmingham Airport for 1 night before my early morning flight. The hotel was only 5 minutes walk to the NEC and monorail to the airport. So handy and easy. Comfortable room and food and drink met expectations. …
