When you arrive at a hotel in the middle of an electrical storm and the national grid has failed and there is no electricity, it is then when a hotel makes an impression not what the decor is like or the softness of a bed …. …

Recently had 2 nights stay, booked as I was attending the event near by. The hotel itself is old and tired building, it's clean, staff is friendly, I liked the restaurant - the food was tasty, though not much of the choice. No drinking water in the room (provided upon request though), smell was a bit funky, I didn't have a shower - only bathtub. Carrying luggage all the way up was not too fun. Overall I didn't hate it, but definitely not staying again.

We have given this hotel 5 stars as everyone at the hotel makes your stay memorable for the right reasons. We have to GSD Dogs. Where chargered for them as you would expect. The rules are they must be on a lead and be well behaved. …

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Carpets were water logged your feet sank into them. Room was freezing cold and heating was giving off a horrid smell. Damp around the windows. 3 to 4 inches of dirt and dust all around the skirting boards around the room. Black pubic hair everywhere. Bath plug chain was cracked. Part of it fell in the bath and I cut the back of my leg on it. Room smelled damp and musty. In the morning I woke up to find an army of woodlice crawling all over the room floor. Also had a really bad night's sleep due to the bed being so uncomfortable. To which I also woke up the next day with my right arm full of bites, clearly from the bugs that were in the bed. Absolutely disgusting. Downstairs hardly anything to drink at the bar. Food was horrendous and expensive, no atmosphere or morale at all. In the sitting room, behind chair were empty J20 bottles had clearly been there a while. Dust and dirt everywhere. I have scored a 1 star for this hotel, but to be honest, with the experience of my stay, the property is not worthy of a rating it was that bad. Avoid, avoid avoid.

Recently went for afternoon tea. What a disappointment it was! Poor selection of sandwiches and not enough of them. No options for choice of bread. Cheap, shop bought cakes and scones, not a homemade one in sight. Very poor quality coffee. No accompaniments for the sandwiches. Pretty mediocre staff, could do with some customer service training. Overall, not worth the money and not a great experience. Definitely would not recommend and most certainly wouldn't go back.

🚨🚨!!!!!!!!!AVOID!!!!!!!!🚨🚨Worst experience everBook for a garden view 3 adults room in AgodaWhen we arrived, the receptionist said she is sure that room only got 2 beds at the moment and she could arrange another room. She brought me to the 1st room which is on the ground floor and yes there are only 2 beds confirmed. Then she gave me the key of the 2nd room and said I can take a look then left. After I checked the 2nd room which is on the 1st floor it's alright but no garden view at all only some trees totally no view. Since my grandparents' ankles are not very good walking the stairs up and down. So I went back to the reception and wanted to see if any arrangements can be made. When I went back, no one is in the reception and I waited for another five min and no one is there. How can they be like this, serve you give you the key and gone. That's the first thing totally unacceptableSecondly the hotel is very badly maintained. My grandpa went to the toilet and he would like to check the towel because he would like to take a shower when arrived. He touched the tower warmer and the tower warmer is so old that it got really sharp edges and my grandpa cut his fingers and bleed.Thirdly the electricity goes off in the second day and the staff said it's the whole area that have no electricity and it will be fixed in Serval hours. Alright then we wait while having no water and no electricity in the room. No light no toilet water no tape water no heating no WiFi. And staff couldn't offer anything but only apologise and left.Fourthly the electricity goes off again few hours again after it's fixed!!! Asked the staff again and they said it's due to the power cut yesterday something is wrong in the hotel! And they could just apologize. No shower no water no electricity again. And when I went to the reception again and there is definitely no staff anywhere. Totally unacceptable for this hotel to be like this. What's the difference of living in the hotel room comparing to a cave?No water no electricity no receptionist no staff.Worst management ever. The only good is the staff is very nice and helpful, it's the management team worst. So my grandpa has not been showered for 3 days continuosly and originally going on a trip is for happiness and joy but now.... Emm smelly and disgusting to others? And now... We could just wait in the hotel room, with nth and no help, lay down on the bed and do nth, and with no electricity, no light and my phone's battery will be dead soon... 🪦

Staying here currently. Started with a message on reception to call a mobile number for assistance. This number would not connect even after trying 2 phones. The place was infested by wasps which were also getting into rooms.Restaurant food was really poor and drink was not much better. I left most of my food and went to bar to ask if they had snacks, crisps, nuts, etc. they had no snacks at all to offer.First business stay hear due to usual being fully booked. I will not be returning. Now not looking forward to breakfast in the morning. This is one of those places where the same person is receptionist, bar staff, restaurant waitress, etc. and you have to wait for going from one to the other

Large rooms, clean, quiet, comfy beds, good breakfast, catered for gluten-free.The staff were nice and helpful.Minor issues, soy milk at breakfast had gone off, pee in the toilet on checking into room, damp smell in the corridor.
