Me and my partner stayed here recently and it was a delight, really friendly and funny staff and the food was brilliant. The room is really really nice and modern, bonus that it had a coffee machine. Definitely staying here again in the future. As a whole this place is great. Lovely room, great food and a really nice pint! The surrounding area is absolutely stunning also!

A real potential treasure but falls short on so many small details.|So, we ordered our drinks (two bottles of wine) and were then told that the Sunday lunch had pretty much finished. …

Our expectations were realistic before we arrived , these are rooms above a pub not a hotel and that should be considered when booking. |We stayed here for two nights. …

Food ok , but drinks prices were a ridiculous price. 2 gin and tonics and 2 pints £30 , didn't pay that at 4* hotels in London. Should have pulled the barman but didn't want the agro while on holiday.Parking wasn't exactly easy ,and the ambience could have been better.

Don’t bother! We stayed here a few weeks ago to be greeted with a live DJ ! We were told he would be finished at 11 , the area was not cleared until 11.45. The rooms were dirty. Didn’t dare try the food . My complaints were not dealt with. It was expensive for what we got. I have sent emails to no avail ! Lots of broken items in the room and it smelt of toilets as did my daughters room

Review is for food only. Me and my friends were staying in the local area for a wedding. We went to the lazy pug on two separate occasions and we were really happy with the service. Really enjoyed the food, prices were reasonable too. The lady serving us was so lovely too.

Good pub/hotel. The room can be a little noisy whilst the bar is open but they provide earplugs. Comfy spacious rooms. Nice staff. Will stay again
