Good, clean and functional hotel. Bar and bar staff were very friendly and the sports bar was comfortably busy in the evenings. The hotel was was within reasonable walking distance to Union Street, the main high street in Aberdeen. Do try the butteries/rowies the local pastry - fantastic toasted.

Health hazard! Do not stay here!Had booked 4 nighs in this hotel, got a room which smelled weird, so I decided to air it out during the day. When returning in the afternoon the room still smelt bad, to the extent that my luggage and clothing where smelling. Took a good look around the room and found a lot of mold.Decided that I could not stay in the room, the people working in the reception said that they did not have another room for me and taking into acount the state of the room I could check out and would not be charged for the additional booked night. They week after, however, I was charged for the 3 nights anyway, the manager was very unhelpful. All in all very bed experience.

This hotel is quite small. It is in a residential area and has a pleasant front garden and entrance. The rear entrance from the car park is less prepossessing so we were a bit apprehensive.||We needn't have worried. …

Room was dark and dingy, also had an unpleasant smell. Very basic regarding amenities. Is just OK and not anywhere you would want to spend anytime in. There is a bar and restaurant in the building. No breakfast. Food in the restaurant is pretty good. Staff are all great

This is more of a pub than a hotel I would say, we used to stay in Great Western hotels years ago quite often and they wasn’t like this one. The room was ok but the bed wasn’t comfortable but the food was nice and staff were friendly. Admittedly we didn’t have the room we paid for because we arrived a day earlier than arranged.

Stay here for 1 night while up on business and that was enough! |The room I stayed in was filthy! …

Went with the family for an early evening meal after a long day of DIY - the fish special of the day (pan seared halibut +++ extras) was the best seafood dish I have eaten in many a year. …

The hotel is awful. Starting from the dodgy back door reception that looked filthy and sticky. The reception areas was filled with some junk that looked like a pile of old cables, wires and god knows what. …

Booked in for the night as we were attending a 21st birthday party nearby. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Dinner was excellent and room was clean and nice. Also had parking which was a bonus. Would definitely recommend. Please note, however that they do not do breakfasts.

Th room was clean and comfortable and great value.||As we entered, we worried there would be noise as the bar and outdoor seating area were full and loud but no noise at all could be heard in the room.||Room had tea and coffee and bathroom had all we needed.
