My daughter and I stayed for two nights in a twin room at this delightful B&B. Our host was lovely, attentive, helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful fresh breakfast. Literally 2 minutes walk to the train station, perfect for travelling the short trip to Edinburgh for the day. I would have loved to have stayed at The Roods B&B longer and I would definitely stay again because this has been a highlight of our Scottish holiday.

On arrival we were given a warm welcome by Isobel and Patrick. The room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was also very nice. Tea and coffee making kit was well appreciated after a long drive. …
