The hotel actually exceeded our expectations. It was nice and clean and the outdoor area quite large, you didn’t feel like you are surrounded by other people’s kids, you could actually relax a bit. …

This is our fourth familihotel we have stayed in Europe. This was the most disappointing. We went in the winter time and could only use the very small indoor pool (it was too cold to use the outside facilities). My kids enjoyed the go-carts, and the kinder staff was friendly, but don't expect anyone to speak English for you. The spa is actually off the resort grounds and is very basic (but the spa lady was very kind). We stayed in the main building in a two bedroom room. The kids liked their bunk beds but it was well overpriced for the space you got. The food was horrible. This was the major downfall. They force you to pay for full room and board, being 3 meals a day. Every meal was a disappointment. Boiled fennel ugh! We were supposed to stay 6 nights and checked out after 3 and drove 3 hours to another familihotel that was on the czech boarder. This place was cheaper, offered us an entire apartment, had much much more to offer and the food was much better. I am not sure how this place is still running considering how many other amazing familhotels are out there. I guess if its your first one you don't know how good they can be. But don't waste your first experience on this place.

Germany and Austria are the masters of "family" hotels. In the UK it's not something that exists in the same way. Having already taken 3 excellent holidays at a "family" hotel in Unken, Austria, we decided a change was in order. …

Great hotel! Very friendly service. Everyone is trying very hard and you get the impression that they feel connected to the hotel. The facility is very well maintained! Food is also appealing. My children have a lot of fun. The swimming pool is small, but completely sufficient. There are towels for free. The parking lot is directly in front of the hotel and is also free of charge. Only the witch's house is really tight... next time we visit we'll take different accommodation. Otherwise everything was clean. I'm happy to give a good review.

The location is great. You can be in the center of Quedlinburg in a few minutes. The room didn't convince us. We missed room service, which was only available if you explicitly requested it. There were a few super friendly staff, but the majority were very reserved and reserved. We are used to different things from other family hotels. We also didn't like the childcare. A big plus point is the huge outdoor area and the fact that the children have a playroom next to the dining room.

This was our fourth time at the Family Club Harz. The family atmosphere is simply great. Service, cleanliness and food were top! All the employees are very helpful and if there are short waiting times at the lunch buffet, then that's absolutely not a problem. After all, you are on vacation and have time! The childcare is also great and varied. Bianca, Nicole and everyone else always come up with great things, so that even on our fourth vacation there it was never boring. The employees also all have my complete respect! Everyone is always friendly and always seems relaxed. Even if many parents could behave a little more respectfully. The way some people leave their tables after eating is really outrageous and has nothing to do with appreciation and respect for the employees!

We spent a few days in this hotel in the fall. The great and attentive childcare was outstanding. The program was varied and my 7-year-old daughter had a lot of fun. The food was also very tasty at all times. The staff was mostly friendly and cheerful. The outdoor area offers many opportunities to play, but it could be better maintained. I had to complain about pedal vehicles being defective twice. We know from other family hotels that they are lined up cleanly every day; a flat tire would certainly have been noticed. We didn't reach the play areas in the forest. There were also certain areas cordoned off with tape. Some of the toys in the sandbox had to be dug up to get to them.We lived in one of the houses. Small but very nice. However, there were some unsightly defects in our house, such as countless holes in the tiles in the hairdryer area, holes in the walls and an incomplete wardrobe (a protective cap for the metal rod, which protects jackets from damage when hanging up), was missing. We knew that the house was not cleaned daily. In our case, however, the floor looked devastating when we left. We were unable to bring the sand from the outside area into the house. We were disappointed with the swimming pool. The baby pool was cooler than the swimming pool; my one-year-old daughter got cold relatively quickly. The changing room in the swimming pool was also dirty: there was hair everywhere on the floor.Nevertheless, you can spend a nice time in the hotel, even if not quite to the standard that we know from other family hotels.

As grandparents we lived in a witch's house for 2 days. Although it was clean, it was getting old and in need of renovation and modernization. The grounds were beautifully landscaped. We had many opportunities to spend time with our grandchildren. It wasn't far to walk to the center of Quedlinburg either. We didn't like the food. The selection at the buffet was small. The main courses were served at the table in the evening and were mediocre. With 4 stars we expected more. Service was very nice, but overwhelmed at peak times. Dishes have barely been cleared and are piled up on the table. We have been to other family hotels. The price-performance ratio was much better there.
